tfishell: Any new info on what time? I'd assume between noon EST and 2 pm EST.

ne_zavarj: I think it will be released at 19.00 CEST .
In the first post, there is written that there will be a pre-release stream at 10 pm GMT. So the game gets released after the stream. It should be about 2 hours long. So according to my calculation, about midnight GMT? That is how I understood it, maybe I am wrong.

Indeed you are, because they already streamed it last night. :P

Well it was $30 all throughout Early Access (maybe it will jump up on release?), yet many seemed to think it was worth it. I just hope GOG's version is priced fair comparable to the Steam version.

That said, I am skeptical it will sell well on release, but at least it's here. :)

I think they're increasing the price now that it's a full version and has more content, and the launch discount is a last chance to get it for the $30 since GOG didn't have it during early access. However, it also went on sale for 40% off a few times during early access, so I think it's still a little much. I don't usually buy games in early access, so I passed on the sales and now I'm stuck paying the higher price, but I'll still do it as soon as it's released anyway. I'm sure it'll go on sale again with a bigger discount, but I've waited long enough.
It's still about $10 cheaper than most PC games that I bought in the 90s and early 2000s and I expect to get a lot of gameplay for that money. I'm a huge space buff and everything about this game clicks with me. Most of my digital purchases in the past year were at full price (GOG, Playism, and whatever other DRM-free games caught my fancy). I do that partly because the economist part of me believes in investing in the future of my hobby and partly to atone for years of piracy. Even at full price, I'm often getting many games for the same price as a single game cost me in the 90s.

BKGaming: I've been waiting a while for this, so I will probably get this even a $30... $40 is just a little to much right now. I'm also not sure how much content your really getting or what all you can actually do in the game. Anyone that has played care to chime in?
on top of what wizisi2k said, there is also:
- scanning/mining of minerals
- career mode: start with limited parts/budget, fulfill missions & experiments to gain money/science/reputation, unlocking gradually more and more advanced parts & missions
- tons of mods (unpaid :p)

but in the end it is still mostly a sandbox game, ie mostly driven by your ambitions/experiments/creativity. So, how much you will get out it, very much depends on the player.
I think 40$ is a bit much for the game, honestly. But 25-30$ seems fine to me.
Good thing that there will be a demo, so try that one first.

dunno, if this was already posted: (KSP 1.0 Cinematic Trailer)

No it wasn't. Squad did a scaling price system with KSP. Early adopters paid very little and the price went up the more development time in it. When I picked it up (shortly after it hit Steam) I paid $18.

And to be blunt, if it doesn't sell well on launch it will most likely be because most of their customers already bought it before hand.
Kerbal Space Program can finally be seen in the upcoming tab.

Cheapest used to be around $5-$10 U.S. Dollars. I got mine for $15 U.S. Dollars during the Version 0.15/0.16 eras (though I played since 0.13.2 through the demo beginning February 2012).

This was long before Early Access was introduced to Steam. And yes, my purchase was made on June 17th, 2012.
