No. It's just we read some other things as well. And they seem to differ from what you're taking about.

I take it you are under the impression everything is the same. That is not the case there are a lot of things that change and there are some things that do not. You should be wise enough not to think everyone and everything is going to be the same as you or what you have. If you put everyone into a certain persona in your mind you are going to miss things that will help. And as I said if I go to lynching I will have only helped town in the long run and that is my goal.

Krypsyn, JMich, Twilight. I hope you guys are checking the thread. I think you three are the only ones with no vote right now.

All: We are now into borrowed time; night could fall at any minute (or hours from now, but we don't know).

I'd be happy to lynch Flub or Sage, but Sage's squirming looks especially scummy to me right now. I suspect her vote on Flub was an attempt to pull my attention (and possibly others) back to him. Ix pointed out what I too think is a slip, "protecting the heart". Being third to the public party on this one, I don't expect any town points for this.

Lets see some other recent Sage quotes, though (Bold is my doing.):

Sage103082: Do you not see that were are trapped to a degree and someone among us is trying to take it away. I am not sure what you would call that but to me it is protecting! We also have to get it from here to another place and in doing so not losing it or having anyone steal it.. I would also call this protecting.. Am I the only one that read the what this is about and the OP?
Thing is, Clear Sky are the thieves. We recovered (stole) the artifact from the heart of the Zone. And night one had "THIEVES" carved into HSL's head, iirc.

Yes, there are at least two different factions. Clear Sky and Monolith worshippers. I've got Dedo leaning town right now; I'll check his posts tomorrow to see if I can come up with any slips, but we're out of time today.

So you agree that lynching you will help town?

Bookwyrm627: So you agree that lynching you will help town?
If something can be learned from my lynch then yes it is helping town. Do I want to be lynched no. I want to stay alive and help.
I just woke up and am reading before jumping in the shower for work.

Ixamyakxim: .............

I'd argue one step further. Her use of "protect the heart" read to me like scum trying to read into the OP, swinging and narrowly missing. Especially in light of her inquiry into the "group" of townies.
Agreed.

Clearly an attempt to capitalize on flavor and not follow her actual role.

Sage103082: ........................
You can Lynch me and you will see I am NOT monolith. And in doing so you will learn (I hope) and move forward to catch those who are not town. Town wins as a whole and not an individual person at the end.

I am not sure about you but I am stuck in a war zone type area (sorry I have never player the video game) and if we do not protect it and find a way out then what are we doing??
I will reiterate.

My PM is clear about my role and objective so I have no need to ask "what are we doing??" I know.

Unvote: JMich

Wrong my role is about protecting the heart.

My PM is clear too. Do you think this is going to be a game that is completely about passing roles around to others. Not everyone is going to be vanilla and waiting to having something fall into their laps.

I still want to know if Sage has some information regarding someone. I am trying to understand why she capped the word IS in reference to someone being town, it made it seem as if she knows for sure. I would hate to lynch someone to find out they were a town cop. She hints at knowing something in post 715 and post 726.

Is she scum trying to fake a claim or is she town trying to drop hints, I'm not sure. But, I don't feel she is the scummiest player at this time. I still think that is JMich and Krypsyn. This feels as if we are rushing the lynch again like we did with Hijack, and I feel it would be an unwise decision to rush anything.

Bookwyrm627: Krypsyn, JMich, Twilight. I hope you guys are checking the thread.
Yes... sort of. Mostly just skimmed the last page or so and saw the wagon on Sage build rather quickly. I'll need to go back and read it for fully to get a better picture of the situation.

But, well, I'll summarize my feelings about the wagon on HijacK, like I said I would a day ago.

So, the ordering was thus:

1) dedoporno
2) RWarehall
3) trentonlf
4) Robbeasy
5) Bookwyrm627
6) flubbucket
7) adaliabooks
8) Sage
9) Krypsyn

After the 3rd vote was placed by trentonlf in post 494, it truly became a viable wagon. I am not crazy about trentonlf voting for HijacK for essentially just being HijacK, but in this case it makes about as much sense as any other Day 1 vote.

Robbeasy votes for Hijack in the post immediately after. I don't like this timing, and I don't like his reasoning. HijacK hasn't needed the excuse of 'distancing' to argue with other players int he past, so what made this time so different?

Bookwyrm627 votes next in post 498. I like this vote. It is straight forward, he had already voted concerns of HijacK, and he didn't try to sugar coat it. It comes off as very town to me, perhaps in spite of the placement in the wagon.

Flubbucket makes the 6th vote in post 501. I hate this vote. He not only piggy-backs on someone else's vote (robbeasy's), it is the vote I think was the weakest in the wagon by far. It comes across as someone trying to make up a reason to vote for someone for when (not if) that person is revealed as town.

Adaliabooks makes the 7th vote in post 505. His reason is that he wanted to avoid a no lynch, which seems appropriate given the circumstances. I don't like how he stated that he wasn't sure what to make of the game, since this is often a way for scum to try to distance themselves from a vote or opinion. However, it could also just be town uncertain about things during Day 1.

Sage hammers in post 508. It makes sense that she would have checked the thread just long enough to see that a lynch hadn't happened yet, and then decided to make sure it happened before the Day ended. I think a player might do this regardless of alignment.

I had stated my intention to hammer, but I never got around to it. You folks can make up your own minds about that one. Personally, I might find it a little scummy, if I saw someone else do it, so it won't bother me too much if others come to that conclusion as well.

Of the wagon, the two players that stand out as the scummiest are Robbeasy and flubbucket. Since flubbucket actually has a wagon currently:

Vote: flubbucket

This may change, after I review Day 2 again for anything I have forgotten or missed (I have been quite scattered all week), but my vote needs to be somewhere while I do so.
Bump post before I go to bed, in case Krypsyn wants to go ahead and add something else (6 minutes since his post, and he is still online).

I think that puts Sage at 5, Flub at 3, and JMich at 2.

I'd be happy to switch back if I check in and find Flub has gained traction, I think we're hitting scum with either Sage or Flub.

(Note: It didn't seem to accept my attempt a moment ago, so I reopened the reply window. My apologies if this leads to an edit via double post.)

Thunder reverbrates in the air and red lightning races across the sky. This time the buildup was shorter and the Emission strikes, while you still are discussing. Luckily you are inside the shelter, so you all survive the Emission. However, it still knocks you out cold. Well, most of you. No consent had been found and no one seems suspicious enough to put against the wall. Now all you can do is sleep and hope...

The Day ends without a lynch

It is now the time of Emission, please cease posting now.
Those of you, who have night actions, please post them to me at your earliest convenience
If you have been assigned a nightly thread, you can go there now.

Final Vote Count

Sage - 5 (Ixamyakxim, adaliabooks, Bookwyrm627, dedoporno, flubbucket)
Flubb - 3 (RWarehall, Sage, Krypsyn)
Jmich - 2 (Robbeasy, trentonlf)
Ixamyakxim - 1 (CSPVG)

At 13 alive it takes 7 to lynch
Sage is leading the pack at L-2, but no consent is reached
Not voting: TwilightBard, JMich

P.S. One more thing:
I would like to know what went wrong on Day 2 and why the activity was so low. Was it the PM-thing? I am using the signup thread for a nightly discussion. Please move your collective butts over there and let me know, how we can improve participation on the next day. Or let me know your opinions via PM.

As the Emission ends, you all wake up. This time it is already bright day outside and so you see the blood right away. Again, one of you has been killed. P1na (who was formerly called RWarehall) is lying in a large puddle of his own blood. His throat is slit, his back is stabbed and carved into his forehead are the words: YOU WILL DIE!
A quick dissection shows no traces of monolith corruption in his head. However, his body looks like his blood overheated. Some kind of power was trapped inside his body and wreaked havoc, when he couldn't release it any more.

P1na was killed (without ever entering the game) - he was Stara Rafalivka, Clear Sky with some kind of power role

It is now Day again, you can resume posting.
All votes are reset to 0.
With 12 alive it still takes 7 to lynch.

And we're back in the game.

I think we can all agree yesterday was a bit of a bust, ending with no lynch is not good...

And RWarehall / P1na's death is confusing the hell out of me. Wasn't RWarehall mostly confirmed for claiming town vanilla?
So presumably he must have had a power passed to him...
Unfortunately it doesn't look like we're getting an actual role reveal, so we won't know what info or ability we've lost.
The other question is will the power he had still pass on to someone else, or is it gone now that scum killed him while he had it... probably no way to know unfortunately.

I'm not sure where to pick up, I still find Sage pretty scummy but the wagon yesterday didn't gain much traction so I'm not sure whether it's worth starting it again. I've had a reread and I might be able to get on board with flub's wagon, but JMich, Robb and Krypsyn all seem fairly scummy to me too.
So, let's go for the elephant in the room.
Powers seem transferable, and are not revealed at death. Biggest problem this creates? Cop reads are (once more) debatable.
The good thing though is that since the cop power is not fixed (according to TwilightBard at least), whoever was cop the previous night can immediately post his/her read. The bad thing is that we can't be sure that scum won't pose as a cop to do that instead.
So, when last night's cop posts, check your readings on the poster, and decide if you believe them or not. And when we get a flip, move the read to the relevant pile.

Waiting for the rest of the players to show up and post.
