Well... this is a bit of a pickle.
Less than two days to go (for definite anyway) and we haven't got much to go on... our biggest wagon is 2 votes on JMich.
While I do find JMich reasonably suspicious and scummy I think the two possibilities in play are he is scum or a power role, so it's a big risk to take...

No chance of me being neither? Oh, how sweet...

Well, of course there is, but from what you've said those seem the more likely options than just vanilla town.

Lifthrasil: No, the timer is already running. As stated in the setup of the game, the Earthquake is the warning, that the deadline is approaching in 2 + X days.
I stand corrected; I'd forgotten about the earthquake as a warning sign. I figured you would explicitly state when the timer started.

Time to get cracking, people! Bookwyrm, shake a leg and figure out if anyone looks scummier than RWarehall.

Bookwyrm627: ... shake a leg ...
OK.
Other than a few people the activity level in here is lackluster :-/

Not sure how to motivate people to talk more, but that is surely needed. If we keep this pace up the scum will win by default because we never lynch anyone or we only lynch townies because the lynches are rushed.

Hopefully later I will check in and have more to read.

A few, including you.

Anyway, at this point I'm willing to vote for one my top two picks - Krypsyn or CSPVG. I'm not sure who I prefer, though. I kind of want it to be Krypsyn, but CSPVG is making me even more nervous. I don't feel like voting for Ix nor JMich, at least not today. Books kind of dropped down from the reserve list after our latest interactions, so that leaves Sage and Flub as the runners-up with preference on Sage. If everything else fails and I would vote for one of them as well. Everyone else is a no-go at the moment.

Vote CSPVG
I am finding something off about Flub.

Flub - I feel you are very reserved this game and I not sure why yet. I also get the feeling that you are almost piggy backing off others a bit . Is this because you are trying not to draw attention to yourself? Or are you letting others follow the game for you? I just feel like you are hiding in plan sight and trying not to say anything to bring attention to you so wait until someone else brings something up and with vote off that or a agree with it and see how the water ripples.
Here's my general stance

My top 3:
Flubbucket - The post I mentioned is the closest thing I have to a slip.
CSPVG - I get the sense he is trying to subtly steer us to lynching townies.
Krypsyn - My stance has softened, but I find enough others at least leaning town he looks a little scummy..

Honorable mention: Sage - mostly for the hammer. Included only because I believe there should be 4 scum from the starting numbers. Pretty much have her at neutral.

I'd definitely vote for either of the first two. I'm fairly convinced they are scum, but then again I thought Hijack was too, so what do I know?

I don't believe JMich is scum. I won't join that wagon at this time.

dedoporno: If they were that easy to figure out why did you ask for additional time knowing that the clock was ticking?
I never asked anyone to wait, though I did imply that it would be nice when I made my intention known that I was planning to hammer HijacK once I had completed my reads. I wanted to gt my reads out there, all in one place, in case I didn't survive the Night. Or, would you rather I just hammered and didn't bother with a list at all?

avatar
trentonlf: The odd behavior is from day one where all your responses are one word or just short and clipped after you voted dedoporno.
I explained this on Day 1. In short, it was because I wanted to gauge reactions. It was pretty much a flop.

trentonlf: I also wanted to hear more from you and the only way to apply any pressure from someone is to vote for them.
Fair enough.

--------------------------------------

Part of my trouble Today is that my prime scum suspect has been implicitly confirmed as town by the moderator. With RWarehall confirmed (at least in my eyes), I felt I need to go through the thread again to see if I had missed anything while I was so focused on him in the later parts of the Day. I didn't miss that much, so I probably should have bothered.

All that is really there to look at is the wagon on HijacK. It was a very rapidly formed wagon, and I think much of it was composed of players just looking to avoid No Lynch. The order of the votes was:
1) dedoporno
2) RWarehall
3) trentonlf
4) Robbeasy,
5) Bookwyrm627
6) flubbucket
7) adaliabooks
8) Sage
9) Krypsyn

I included myself in the list, as I had stated my intention to be the hammer. Feel free to remove me from that list if you don't think it is warranted.

The main questions for any post-wagon analysis is: Why did the wagon start (what were the reasons give by the first few voters), and at what point did it become viable/inevitable? These questions are particularly useful when the wagon was on a town player.

Dedoporno started the wagon in post 473 stating that he was against no-lynching wanted to try 'something else'. It could be as he says, or he could be scum using this as an excuse to place a weak vote on someone he knows is town. If town, he legitimately wanted to scum-hunt and avoid a no-lynch; if scum, he was forming a new wagon at the 11th hour to sow confusion (or maybe even get a townie lynched). Both are plausible, and don't think starting the wagon is a good indication of alignment in this case.

In post 489, RWarehall is the second vote on HijacK. His deciding argument seems to be that he agrees with dedoporno that his PM doesn't 'look like a template'. At the time, I thought it seemed suspect that he jumped on HijacK by using someone else's argument, but given occurrences Day 2, this was a false tell.

((My head is killing me. I'll finish this analysis up later today.))
To be fair, for me, it was a little more than that. The way Hijack worded it, he implied knowledge of the scum PM. So, I was worried that he did have a PM which looked like a template and it was scummy...

Without going back, I think this was first mentioned by JMich if I recall correctly. At least the knowledge of the scum PM.
Just read back through the thread, this time looking solely at Flub. I'm very impressed by how little he seems to have contributed, a great many of his posts can be reduced to "me too" or unrelated to the game (outside links). I counted maybe two or three ideas that weren't already brought up by someone else.

Flub, what have you contributed? Does anyone else see what I'm talking about?

RW seems very PM focused, but he had a lot more discussion around his thoughts even if I think his tells are weak.

I still want to look over Ix, and another player or two.

For now though, Unvote Rwarehall, Vote Flubbucket.

RWarehall: Flubbucket - The post I mentioned is the closest thing I have to a slip.
Understand me clearly, there was no slip in that post.

My PM is very clear and leaves no room for misinterpretation. How you choose to read that is on you.

I am not mafia, and will welcome any investigation to show that to be true.

flubbucket: Understand me clearly, there was no slip in that post.
Are you softclaiming a role? I'm not asking because I usually find softclaiming scummy LOL. I'm just trying to figure something else out.
Nope. Just trying to be clear.
