Since we're so early, maybe we can fit in a second lynch today? Yes, I know it doesn't follow the game rules, just an amusing flavor thought.

As always, flavor clashes with mechanics. Flavor-wise, one would think we'd know if Adalia was along as a doctor, but that would upset the mechanical balance. As would scum just killing everyone while they're down and helpless.

Forget the Doctor part. This is almost impossible to use. The more interesting thing is that Books claimed a limitless vigilante. They are X-shot for a reason. I don't buy his claim at all.

Sincere apologies to Lift - we're about 20 hours since hammer dropped, so in the interests of moving this along I'll add the nightfall post. Any inaccuracy and/or poor taste in the death flavor post is my fault. Hopefully everyone will be OK with pushing it forward, and hoping Lift forgives me if I screw it up!

The group huddled together, but any illusion of togetherness was shattered by the ugly accusations flying back and forth. “flub is corrupted!” “Ooo Gggg orr ORR GrR grrrr!!” “adalia killed Stara!” “I couldn’t help it!” “Wait, I have a lot of math!”

Tempers flared louder and louder. Words and guns pointed back and forth. Finally, dedoporno and Bookwyrm627 stepped forward. “We have to make a decision. Zombie boy, come here.”

“orr GRrR RaAAa rAa ara RAA Rrrrrr UuRrR!!” howled flubbucket, as dedoporno grabbed him and forced him to his knees. Bookwyrm627 unholstered his rifle, clicked to single-fire, and put a single round into the protesting operative’s heart. Immediately, the sub-human grunting ceased and flub’s body fell limply into the dirt.

“Thank god, that was getting annoying as ****” barked trentonlf.

Once again, the gruesome operation was performed. Flub’s scalp was peeled away and the top half of his skull removed. Collectively, the group gasped – although quite dead, the operative’s brain was still pulsing with some kind of dark energy. Bands of ephemeral dark ribbon danced into the air, and a faint smell of ozone could be detected. As they watched, the energy bled away, presumably back to the Monolith from whence it came. Once gone, however, the rest of his body appeared perfectly human - no trace of special augmentation.

What wasn't expected was the strike of the emission - no warning, no earthquake - only the sudden collapse of the group onto the shelter floor...

You all wake up to the familiar feeling of a headache after the emission. And to the by now, unfortunately, equally familiar smell of blood. This time it is dedoporno who was killed at night. His back stabbed and his throat slit. And in his forehead the words: "GIVE UP!" are carved.
The by now common dissection reveals no taint in dedoporno's brain, however, like in the case of P1na, dedoporno's body has been wracked by some kind of energy that he couldn't release in time. The damage is even more pronounced this time, so dedoporno definitely had some kind of supernatural power.

dedoporno is dead - he was Staroz Akrevsky, Clear Sky operative with some kind of power role
