Piranjade: Well, this is the key I meant.
Just tested it, can confirm it worked.
avatar
rcthedigitalhero: I believe it's called the windows key? Never used it before O.o
avatar
Piranjade: Isn't the Windows key the one with the Windows symbol on the left side of your keyboard between Strg/Ctrl and Alt?
Piranjade is correct, only the key with the Windows symbol is called "Windows key".

The key in the image is called Menu key.

Speaks volumes about the "success" of these keys that even after all these years, we still need to look up Wikipedia to know what that key is called. Personally I tend to disable those keys on my keyboard, they just get in the way.
Just finished my game against HannoB. Quite entertaining, in the end i had 3 players left against 11 of his. But for some strange reason it only went to 2-1.
Only one dead and a lot of badly hurt, but not many miss games i think.

Its hard to play very well when you are very outmatched, i took often big risks and just hoped for the best. Ah well it was an interesting game although my turns were very limited in the amount of options they had :).

For a replay here you can find it: https://www.dropbox.com/s/pkrz3yjjizzhxfw/Weekly_S3_D2_R2_HannoB-Arnob8911.db

And thanks to all that helped with the finding of the menu key :).

Hmm was just thinking what do you guys think of getting more mercenaries on a team like this when you got loads of inducements to spend?

The match between The Red Spiky Team and The Roving band ended in 1-0.

Considering it was a match with a TV of 1920 vs 890, Mystral really put up a good fight sending 3 beastmen to the hospital (one of which was saved by the apo).
Funny how his high AV players got injured while all the zombies walked away happy, all limbs intact.
And for my second game in a row against a chaos team with much higher TV, I lost again pretty much to no one's surprise I guess, 0-1 this time.

At least I suffered a lot less injuries than last time, although for some reason it was the Meatshield zombies who were extraordinarily resistant, not suffering a single injury or KO despite being knocked down all the time.
My more valuable players didn't fare nearly so well, unfortunately. At this rate I might end up with a team of 11 zombies.

I'm trying to contact Aningan through Steam,so far he's off line.I'll send him a PM

BTW,any luck so far to contact Hawk52?

l0rdtr3k: BTW,any luck so far to contact Hawk52?
He's aware that it's his turn to pick a prize, but he has trouble deciding. I suppose he'll make his pick soon.

Hawk, would it help to narrow down the options and then let Nuffle decide in true Blood Bowl fashion? :)
BTW,why does the Games Workshop games uses D6s instead of D20s?
I always thought that D20s are more fair or maybe I've been playing D&D too much again

Vampires vs jolly's orcs -> 2-0 for the vamps \o/

...was very very hard outcome though.

First half was very hard for me. My six vampires were rather thirsty and pro was totally bonkers. Got one of those 3BL's => 3 CAS turns there as well, so i was kinda outnumbered while Jolly's caged did its best to roll forward with the ball.

Jolly had the chance to do TD on turn 5 or 6 i think, bu instead he stalled. It did look pretty safe position to stall really. The i had only one vamp which was free enough to just move next to the ball carrier (who was one square from doing the TD) so he couldnt blitz. However, i had one blodge vamp in the middle of orcs, who miraculously dodged his way out, didnt fail BL and didnt fail GFI's and managed to knock ball carrier over. I think Jolly tried to blitz me with troll, but got double skulls (there would have been still another vamp besides the ball though) -> anyways i then managed to pass the ball forward and thus keep the first half 0-0.

Second half went better for me, i recived and after some dodgy vampire play managed to score on maybe turn 12 or 13. Jolly received with enough time to TD..but i he left his ball carrier in such position that i managed to hypno-blitz my way through his cage and put the ball on ground. ..i had pretty decent chance to get the ball and try to dodge away from the orc cage with my blodge vamp...but he couldnt and fell on ground, leaving my other vamp inside td zone waiting for the pass which wasnt mean to be...that turn. With lots of vamping i then managed to get make enough space around the ball to pick it up with my brand new lvl1 vamp (who regened his niggle injury!) and then managed +4 long pass for TD - despite failing BL. lucky i had someone to bite just in the right spot as he also failed the first attempt at pass - but had team reroll left.

I didnt cause single CAS, i think i did one KO...while i suffered 7 CAS - i think four were from failed bloodlust checks. six vampire on the pitch is quite insane - if pro isnt working and the thralls start disappearing from the pitch, the team just doesnt work anymore :/

Well, whatever - was fun if desperate at times. Psyringe, prepare yourself to meet the thirsty half dozen on next round :D

(replay in google drive as usual)

l0rdtr3k:
well, unless the dice are loaded, they should be just as even and "fair", no matter whether its 1d2 (coin), 1d4 or 1d100...

Vitek and I shall play our game on Thursday, 10:45 my time, or 18:45 his time.
I'll let everyone else below me pick their prizes ahead of me. Sorry for taking so long, I'm just a habitual hard decider, and it's not fair to let everyone else be held up.
so,it's my time to pick right?
Hawk,do I need all DLC to enjoy Killing Floor?
and, sorry to ask,is your avatar some movie charact?er

l0rdtr3k:
No you do not need all the DLC to enjoy killing floor. It's mainly aesthetics.

Also, his avatar is an Ex professional Wrestler named appropriately "Hawk" who teamed up with another guy named "Animal" and they were the Road Warriors.

I forget who gave me this picture, but it was someone on the forum.

It's one of those things. I watched wrestling growing up, but I didn't name myself after Hawk. It was just one of the random names I used as a kid and it stuck.
