if I'm not wrong you can choose the currency you want to use
" They REALLY hate eurozone Europeans, don't they? "
just as Steam and GamersGate
Yes but on gogames you can choose if you want to pay in dollars or euros. Just click on "Change currency" on the upper right from dollar to euro and you will pay the dollar price
Of course, before you do that, check with a currency converter whether the UK price is cheaper than the US one. Such as AVP, which (at least in my case) was cheaper with the UK price by around the equivalent of 10 USD.

You can. I gifted a game for a friend in China through Impulse.
Sendit has some awesome deals right now...
Dead Space, Supreme Commander for 5 pounds. Red Alert 3 for 12... and many more...
Check them out:

(I recently bought the Lord of the Rings Extended Trilogy from there, so its a safe site (for anyone that has doubts). Also, they deliver quite fast, it took only a few days for my order to arrive from the UK to Macedonia.)

The Fallout packs are well worth £5 each. It's nice to see a site that doesn't automatically quadruple the price when you click the euro button. How much is shipping?

Delivery is free on any orders placed to addresses inside the UK.
There is a charge of 99p per item on deliveries to any countries within the EU.
There is a charge of £2.35 per item on deliveries to any countries outside of the EU.
Actually, the GetGames deal for AVP is a whole fucking 8 PENCE less than the weekend deal on Steam a while back.
Empire : Total War is ten bucks and change on Direct2Drive (North America only).
