Hitman 2
Medal of Honor Allied Assault Spearhead

Wing Commander - The Secret Missions 2 - Crusade

Played through this one for the first time ever. GODDAMMIT, this was a tough nut to crack. I remember the first Secret Mission being pretty hard, but Crusade's even harder. HOWEVER, I did manage to make it through and get the good ending, and I feel pretty satisfied right about now. And I can finally say that I played through the entire core Wing Commander games. The saga is complete.

First game beaten this year is Shadow Hearts. Was pretty rough all around, so I liked Koudelka better, since while that had some problems such as the battle system it was better executed and I liked the survival horror-ish set up and gameplay more.

Second game was Crimson Shroud. Was kind of neat to see a spiritual successor of sorts to Unlimited SaGa, with the whole psuedo tabletop game theme. Could use more rooms on the paper map and more interactivity inside each one, maybe a bit more variety with monsters and battles (especially since the few battles there are take up most of the gameplay time and you're encouraged to farm them for drops). Only about 5 hours long, but not bad since it's just a downloadable title. Might go through ng+ for the alternate ending eventually since it was a bit ...what?
Ok, you can add the Double Fine Amnesia Fortnight prototypes.

Here are my preferences for the 5 prototypes:
- The Black Lake
- Hack & Slash
- The White Birch
- Autonomous
- Spacebase DF-9

They were all pretty rough but I could not make anything really useful in the last 2 while the others only lacked more detailed instructions.
ok so i see that peeps are reserving post spots, to place their games :)

can I reserve a line please !!!!!
January 10th 2013: Assassin's Creed 2 - Deluxe Edition: Better than the first one, but again with the cliffhanger ending. Why does the series torment me so? Time to wait for the next -75% sale to grab the next one, unless GOG.com releases it first (wink, wink, nudge, nudge).

Managed to finish Hard Reset (the complete edition) today, in a little more than 8 jours.

Man, what a game, what a game!! Wild Hog Studios, if you continue making such amazing games, you'll soon become one of my favorite companies! ^_^

Hard Reset does what a handful of FPS achieve: combine utterly stunning graphics (yes, really AAA game-level of graphics), a perfect maniability, a large panel of weapons of accessories, an interesting setting, challenging adversaries and a touch of strategy.

How so, a strategy? Well, you HAVE to perfectly know your weapons, the characteristics of the enemies you're fighting and the setting you're in. There are lots of destructible elements in the area, some of which can open secret zone, some of which can impact on the fight (explosive barrels, electric devices, etc...).

Without that bit of organization, you can't reasonably expect to beat the game. Enemies are quite unforgiving, to say the least, even in Normal difficulty. I've just beaten that difficulty and boy, I'm afraid just by thinking about higher levels of difficulty... ^_^

So, if you like FPS, intelligent ones, with a good level design, and that will be a challenge for you to complete, grab Hard Reset as soon as possible!

A warning, though: the hero uses waaaaaay too often the celebrated "F--K" word. It gets annoying since it is used with no reason. It's a very minor flaw in that game, but still a flaw.

For my list of completed games in 2013, see the first post of this thread.
