PookaMustard: Given that I'm not really keen by Joppo/dedo anymore as I was in the beginning, I'll go for the top-deck. Besides, at this point, I wouldn't trust Joppo with the Special Election either.
There you go!

Don't worry, I will not be in the special election if my government passes.

In case I get FFF I will appoint one of ZFR / Joe / Scene to be president. I would even recommend everyone state their preference among those three.
And in case I get anything other than FFF the game is over.

Since we're going there - how does that even work? I'm not sure I saw it in the rulebook when I first read it and I can't be bothered to do so now. How does the special election affect the general order of the presidency round-robin? Does it shift it fully (next presidential candidate would be the person after the specially elected one) or is it it's own thing after which (if the game continues) we go back to the original sequence (next presidential candidate would be me)? I'm asking this as I find it unwise for you to be skipping me as President.

It's the latter. After the special election the rotation resumes from where it was interrupted. In our current setup your turn at government would come after the special election is done with.

Right, then I suppose it's fine. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. We'll cross that bridge when we get there and hopefully that final L turns up before we have to do more jumping around.

Oh yes I agree. I only talked about the special election and who I'd appoint to disarm the arguments Pooka made about my role in it.

dedoporno: Movie idea: Joe, Cadaver, Joppo and ZFR are all F. ZFR is Hitler. The "good luck liberals" bit is actually ironic but also the name of the movie. Roll credits.

I'd like to thank the Academy...

Lol.....thanks for the laugh
I'm back.

The votes are in annnnd...[What's this? A glitch in the ballot? No, Watson was just snoring worriedly for a few minutes. Anyway, he's now awake and looking somewhat chipper again. No, not" Chipper-Shredder," just "chipper." He does not look like a tree-grinding machine!]

The proposed rotation of Officers of the Shift with Joppo (as Super) and Dedo (as Foreman) passes!

The Votes were as follows:

SHUSH!
Inspector GR sees the picture/sign placed upon the discussification (conference) table, and scratches his head. He wonders quizically for a bit in silence before Sholmes notices and exclaims "That obviously isn't meant for you, Inspector.....you can talk"

"Jolly good.....what a relief!" The inspector exclaims, with a sigh and a relieved smile on his face. He then begins to list his favourite cheeses
