EDIT #2: They are definitely suffering from something, internal server errors, bad gateways, no/slow server response. I'd wager it's on its last legs. Last chance to download!

Yeah, it's definitely getting worse.

A game download of 4 GB has been going on for about 17 hours now...

And for some reason I can't get a Steam code for one game. It complains about some error, but other games seem to be just fine. It's not a big problem as it's a game I already have on Steam, and have completed too, but still something that has never happened before with IR.

Even downloads which are coming otherwise OK have some weird fluctuation in download speed. Random drops and speed bursts and everything.

This sure has signs of a server being left on its own and whatever happens, happens with no human control.
Hopefully the server has some kind of auto-restart sequence, otherwise when that critical error happens, it can really be gone for good.

DownThemAll is good for this. Add multiple segments, I've been saturating my connection download stuff for the past 24 hours (aside from sleeping) as I am downloading for a friend who hadn't gotten around to getting her Desura games sorted before the announcement dropped (she's also downloading, we've almost finished).

There is a greasemonkey script for collecting all the keys from your Desura collection (though I found it after I coded my own). Maybe be worth a try.

Just been told that it is possible for there to be games on your account, that don't show in your collection. Fun times :)

Ah yeah, I discovered this months ago. They did however show up if I went to the 'Games' section of my profile, which is distinct from the 'Collection' page.

Your post scared me, though, and made me take my laziness away and starting download my collection.
In this very moment I am downloading this, which is around 5 GB of data: the speed is constantly over 2 MB/s, pretty satisfactory for my DSL line.

I didn't know this, well, time to check one by one again...

Sometimes, knowing how to code is really useful as it means you don't have to do things like that manually.

I'd really like to help people get their keys and downloads, but I'd need access to their account and I'm pretty sure it's well into the legal "no-no" zone for me to do that (and download files that aren't mine).

I actually have a system at my disposal that would allow to me to download games for everyone really efficiently (as I'd only need to download them once, instead of per person, and I already have all of mine!). Sending them on afterwards would be a bit of a pain, but definitely doable!

If only intent mattered enough that I wouldn't get into serious trouble doing that or Juju would (/could) give me permission to do it.

For me the games won't load anymore in the client. Crap... At least I would've wanted to d/l Driftmoon.

Working fine for me. I'm using version 100:64.

Of course, how long it's going to continue working is another thing.

Thanks! It's working from the browser... I didn't even knew until now that I can do that on Desura :). This also shows how much I've used it :))

I managed to grab all my games (only those that weren't available elsewhere like on Steam) by downloading with my browser. I had server issues a few times (a page not displaying until a few refreshes) but today everything was fine.
