Fixed a lot of issues
This is a pretty fun game! I played the original way back in the day, and also the modern reboot. I thoroughly enjoyed them both, but there were a couple issues with the reboot that were addressed in this sequel. The main one (for me) was the ridiculous fall damage that it had, you could perform a dash off a set of stairs that are like 5 feet high and die from fall damage having to restart from a previous checkpoint, which is a tad bit weird for someone like Lo Wang who can take bullets and explosions to the face, to die from a fall of five feet. Luckily the sequel removed fall damage completely. Another issue was the somewhat clunky controls of the reboot, like having to double tap a direction (or two) then press attack to perform your more powerful attacks with your sword. This could be seriously clunky in the middle of fights, and didn't always work well. If you went too quickly, the move wouldn't trigger. If you went too slowly, it also wouldn't trigger. Luckily the sequel addresses this as well, you merely have to hold left click/left trigger and move in the direction that corresponds to your attack. This is is far easier to do during hectic fights, and is far less clunky. Now, the weapons! Holy crap there are a lot of weapons! Some are great, others not so much, but the real great thing is the new upgrade system which allows you to slot three upgrades into each weapon, some of which can drasticly alter the way it functions. For example, there is an upgrade you can find that allows light weapons to be akimbo/dual wielded which increases the damage but increases reload time and lowers accuracy. There is another that allows projectiles to split, and if you put it in a rocket launcher you can fire two rockets at once! Have not tried the multiplayer as of yet, still working my way through single player, but even if it's terrible this is still a great game.
