The End of the Sun

Excelent for what it is!

I greatly enjoyed the stories, the exploration, the visuals, the music and voices! This game has a wonderful atmoshpere and feel. It is well worth playing! The only downside: There's a lot of running around, which can get tedious at certain points.

Fun adventure, goood sex scenes!

It's worth playing! The mechancs aren't tedious and the exploration is interesting. The music and visuals are all nice. the sex scenes are quite good. The story is mysterious and engaging.

Womanizer

For what it is, it's pretty good!

I have a hard time with the games made by this developer... I get bored.... or frustrated when I can't figure out what to do. This time they included a 'cheat' option, telling you what each option actually does. This was sorely needed, because I got REALLY frustrated with all the arbitrary way things go in the game. I liked it enough to replay it to get the ending where I find out who the killer is and then I quit. For some reason I did NOT get the girl I had gone for during the game, when at the end, despite previous scenes saying we chose to be together..... Anyway it's worth a playthrough, but maybe turn the cheats on before you start if you are pissed off by arbitrary choices making no sense.

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine

It's pretty bad!

TLDR: This is an average shooter, with 40k skins, sounds and environments. Is it worth buying? Only on sale. Right so the first thing thats wrong is that the orks are set up to be exactly the same as the space marines.... I can kill them with 3 bursts from a common rifle and they can kill me in about the same number of shots. This is stupid! A space marine is a heavily cybernetically augmented warrior wearing power armour and wielding powerful heavy weapons; even their common boltgun is equal to a chaingun in most games! In the lore the armour is completely immune to small arms fire and they have a variety of additional, heavier weapons available to choose from. Orks on the other hand are usually nearly naked green sacks of flesh and have technology that only works because they believe in it. Their only advantage is MASSIVE numbers of units. It should be obvious at this point that this game is horribly balanced, because orks should be NOTHING like space marines. The average space marhine should be able to shrug off normal gunfire from the normal ok, but not in this game! Next problem is your allied space marines do very little damage! It's not none, because they HAVE killed a few enemies while I was watching, but oh boy is it a low amount! Since the orks do the same damage you do, that means you are basically solo against all of them while taking full damage all the time. Healing has been ruined by basically coppying the doom method of recharging only when you do an execution move; this is idiotic because this game works NOTHING like Doom. In doom, you can move across an entire arena in a second and cut the enemies head off in the next. In this game, you have to run across the arena ponderously slowly and then engage the enemy all while being shot with perfect accuracy by the enemies! You also don't get any invulnerability while performing an execution in this game, so you are guaranteed to die anytime you are low on health! I'm outa allowed words. :-(

Starcom: Unknown Space

Quite good!

Is it worth buying? Yes! It's even worth it's full price! just like the last one, it's fun to explore, aquire technologies for research, build your ship, smash enemy ships and see what happens in the storries. The music is good, the visual are nice and the gameplay is fitting. The only complaints I have are mine ones, such as being unable to figure out how to finish certain quests without looking them up online. Since these were ALL optional quests, it hardly mattered except for my desire to be completionist. There are a couple balance issues with this game: 1) cannons and thrusters normally go up in price massively while gaining more then double the damage or thrust. However, the mk3 plasma cannon breaks this by being expensive, but not having enough damage increase to be worth using. It is better atm to use three mk2 plasma cannons instead! 2) heat sinks don't do much unless you leave them next to open spaces. This doens't make sense as the heatsink itself should be drawing off and emitting most of the heat above and below the ship, realistically speaking. All but hte armoured one are also partial hexes, meaning they are annoying to use. It would've been better if they were all full hexes, so they can all be used to attach other components! 3) fighters move WAAAAY to slow, even when fully upgraded. Fully upgraded, they still move slower then the missiles, even without upgrading the missiles speed! Combind with the fact that you need to wait for fighters to return, vs missiles auto generating and not needing to return, it's better just to use missiles!

Tear and the Library of Labyrinths

It's pretty good!

The story is interesting. The characters are cute, as well as sexy. The sex scenese are pretty good. The combat system has both level up gain for powers, as well as an upgrade screen where you buy more of them with in game 'units'. Enemies each have a weakness you can exploit for extra damage. The corruption mechanic has both good and bad elements to it. You have to maintain the health of the villagers, but doing it rewards you in a couple ways. Only really bad thing was a surprise dickgirl scene, which I did not want to see. Something of note is that it does appear to be a console port, so you have to use either a controller or keyboard to play it. If you ever played an emulated game in your life, this won't be a problem, as the keys are all pretty logical and easy to use. Overall I really enjoyed it. It's worth a buy!

Nifa's First Mission

It's ok

Buy on sale or not at all. The combat is annoying, in part because the player animations CANNOT be canceled. So if you spam attack and then want to block, you can only do so after all the attacks which it registered, have happened. To anyone who's ever played a twitch game or dark souls style game, this is an obvious and major flaw in design. It gets very annoying very fast! Despite the above, you can still play through the entire game, due to difficulties ranging from hard all the way down to one shotting every enemy, including bosses. By the end of the game, I had it on the easiest setting due to frustration with the combat controls and some enemies. For example: There is a cherub type enemy which will attack you and charges up before doing so. This charge causes you to get hit with up to 3 instant kill lightning bolts after killing a cherup. The only way to avoid this is to sprint across the screen away from the unit you just killed. Given that they are fliers and you encounter them on a moutainside, you can only run away from the lightning once in awhile. The premise is interesting, the music is fitting and the gallery shows you all the naughty scenes you've unlocked. However I would not play this again..
