It may not be the prettiest game and the price may be high but its definitly worth the asking price. A lot of recent crpgs were just not clicking for me. I recognized where and how they were good but something about them just felt like a chore that made coming back to them hard. While i'm still in the early game for KotC2 this game getting right to the action and with mutliple choices and potential solutions based on your party and classes choices really clicks with me. The only thing I wish was the story was a little more than basic but perhaps that will change later. If not I still think even with this flaw the games great.
The humor of this game worked for me hitting all the classic's of regular tabletop adventuring. On top of that it was a fun combat challenge and you'll have to play smart to complete the game. Another positive to note this is also one of the rare few games to come out that the DLC content is expansions to the base games story continuing the plot from where each one left off from the last. Which was a breath of fresh air with so much of modern day dlcs always being content that only supplements the core game and never continues the story.
