I've heard about this game a long time ago, but I only managed to play it this year. It's fun, with nice music and effects, and there's a lot to build and explore. It makes much more sense to play in survival mode, as that's the only mode where most of the production buildings are really useful. It's a good sandbox, but it's a bit empty. Most of the time you are against the harsh environment, which is also pretty challenging and interesting. More enemies and challenges could make this game far better than it is. I found the idea with archaeology pretty cool, but it's incomplete. It's fun to dig for different bones, but what's next? There's so much potential in this game, I hope that the developers will continue to improve it.
I've just played for a few hours and it looks really nice and interesting. A bit familiar, to the previous parts, and quite some of the new mechanics. Looking forward to diving deeper and hope that the game will continue to be great.
It is just a masterwork from any perspective. I just want to add that there exists a remake created by a great team, for now it is still in the development stage and available for free. Try to search for "Beyond-All-Reason" you will be definitely satisfied.
Well, long story short - interesting mix of tech and magic, open world, interesting and appealing characters, skills and weapon that you can modify and upgrade. Really different and unique fractions. All in all, very cool, but combat system not that good, AI also dumb.
I spot this game more than 10 years ago I didn't saw anything as good, as Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri. Very interesting setting, mechanics, balance and a lot of replayability. Despite pretty simple grafics it is entertaining and bring a lot of joy and chalenges.
