..... but it's stupid difficulty levels spoil it to be quite honest. However, I have since noticed DustynB's advice in a review around here...... so that trick might be worth a try!!!!!!! Other than that, you're only hope is actual cheat codes - the harder games are the more likely ALL cheat codes have been disabled........ so this one has a 150% chance of that. Or use some cheat util. And "TheAriesEffect"...... that kind of drivel review is rampant on Steam, we don't want to see such useless retarded shit here on GOG thanks.

This is not the 1.28 version. GOG are pedalling an old broken, outdated version. As a result almost nothing in EAW as downloaded directly from here works. Graphics, sounds, joystick, multiplayer ------ the entire game. And it constantly, CONSTANTLY CTDs at random. Of course GOG don't care, all they want to do is continue with the onslaught of modern "indie titles", Jap RPGs, "visual novels" and dogshit hentai / porno titles. Welcome to the "Nu Steam".

Ok, it all looks a bit ugly, and sounds/music ain't much, and it's repetive, and it's short (you'll soon unlock everything and not really need to play it anymore) - but it is a fun "run around a room shooting hordes of enemies" type game - whose vintage goes all the way back to "Berzerk" in the early 80's. And it's free....... so just put it in your library already. Oh and neden4602 - way to go with sheer reviewing skills. Get back to doing Steam reviews ya lousy fgit.

This DLC infested piece of shit should NOT be on GOG. It's free yeah, but that's just to trap you in the web. It is also full of DRMs, "make accounts and you'll be reward - promise", bugs and other bullshit that goes against all of GOG's supposed ethos. The UI is also terrible and I couldn't even fathom how to make the first move. Played for less than 30 seconds before disgust-quit. A true piece of fecal matter.

Even though I am feeling very despairful (my mother died only 3 weeks ago) this still managed to make me smile and giggle a little. The game is basically, you as "Jester", putting on theatre shows with your sidekick "Sok". You need to wander around to find out what sort of things the audience will like on that particular day first though. Put on the show the audience want to see and you earn more "flower bouquets". Collect 15 of them and you'll progress to the next map. The game is VERY short though, I completed during two sittings in a Saturday evening and Sunday afternoon. £13 full asking price is too high IMO. That's abour £2 to £3 per hour! Luckily I got this free when it was on a giveaway last month!

Every game style element that I LOATHE is incorporated into this game. - sparse checkpoint saves - forced time limits in many areas (due to gas mask filters lasting barely 5 mins each) - precision "platform" jumps that just frustrate, frustrate, frustrate - rush here, rush rush RUSH gameflow - horrible constant background voice chatter in some areas - impossible to find your way around - and with those cursed gas mask filters...... - TERRIBAD UI - unfair difficulty I expect "Last Light" will be more of same disappointment I got to the level were you first reach the surface of Moscow, and just had to quit - I had a screaming headache with it already by then. All these HUNDREDS of 5-stars reviews...... whose arses are these being pulled from? It's a terrible game IMO. Hey 5-star loonies, you with all the positive votes...... don't forget to negrep this "yet another whining bad review" into oblivion, as you turds ALWAYS do. And if you buy this game despite reading my warnings, and you find yourself saying "I wish I took JMayer70's word for it and not those hordes of 5-star loonies", well "fools and their money" so they say.

And it's 90% luck and 10% skill :( It's a great game for sure, but the difficulty and your sheer mercy and the kindness of a VERY UNKIND RNG blemishes the game greatly. I mean, has ANYONE honestly completed this? Oh and "sdfg144" - way to go! What a fucking marvellous example of a good review!

There is a good game in there somewhere, but I (and likely you) will never find it. TOO hardcore, TOO difficult and overly complex in a bad obfuscative way. UI is rather kack and the tiny icons and texts will have you squinting with eye strain. Not one I'm going to be able to get into unfortunately.

....of the Wing Commander series. Reviews by "wvpr" and "ColBashar" from 11 years ago say pretty much what I would. No need to repeat them. But I will say again that the two, yes JUST TWO fighters per side in the battle screens is RIDICULOUS. What were the devs thinking? Also unplayable without a joystick. Avoid this, unless you really must have ALL the WC series.
... all the usual hordes of 5-star raving loonies claim. As a TBS it is solid enough, especially given it's '96 vintage, but it is just to..... slow, arduos and I soon tired of it. ALL the pre-made single scenario and campaign missions are I.M.P.O.S.S.I.B.L to the E, due to being scripted with extremely unfair odds against the player in mind. Play on a procedural skirmish scenario and you will find the AI doesn't at least cheat (well it does on the hardest levels and it is fully disclosed that it cheats) all the time, but it just turtles, turtles and more turtles. After a few dozen turns all enemy bases and yours (if you turtled) will be simply unassailable and it all ends in stalemate - a game that isn't going to go anywhere. Hey 5-star loonies, don't forget to hit the "no" button down there like you scumbags do with ALL "critical" reviews that don't kowtow to your 5-star lunacies.
