I'm honestly surprised by how shallow this game is considering it raised 2 mil through crowdfunding. -Combat is Xcom like with just a few abilities per class to experiment with. -No branching plot or alternative ways to tackle quests. -There's only two side quests in the entire game. -Very little animations for NPCs. They just stand on street corners or fixed locations waiting for you to walk by. -Art style isn't very appealing. -Story has a total length of about 10 hours. I could forgive the linearity if the game actually provided the player with a sense of choice but it just doesn't. No matter what you do you are railroaded into the same ending every time. Nothing you do matters which often leads to the game feeling a bit like a visual novel that you are just passively reading with the occasional bit of combat sprinkled in. Last bit of annoyance is the amount of cringe leftwing politics that often crop up. You got the whole "cops is racists yo, they profile minorities dog" type of messaging along with a huge helping of multiculturalism to a honestly hilarious degree. For example I would estimate that about 90% of the characters in this game are racially mixed. You got the Japanese-African vegan who runs a brothel, the black asian lesbian gun runner who talks about how much big guns get her off, etc. It quickly becomes comical especially when you notice that there's only a small handful of white characters in the game whom are either addicts, evil, or incompetent. I think we all get the message that the writers were pushing right? All in all a sub par experience that I can't really recommend especially given that the original Sega genesis game had more content and a better written story. Maybe look into emulating that instead.

The thing that really drags this game down the most is the politics. I quite often see people claim that Bioware wasn’t always woke and used to make God-tier games like this one. Well after playing through the older games I found that it's not that Bioware wasn’t woke it’s just that the politics went over the heads of many young gamers. One of the first instances of cringey leftwing politics is on the first planet Taris. You run into a protester who doesn’t want alien refugees in the city. When you talk to him you can say “You’re ignorant”, “Get out of here before I kill you”, or “I agree let’s kill all the aliens right now!” I don’t think I really need to tell you how this is underhanded leftwing propaganda. Unfortunately, KOTOR is riddled with instances like this. Another example is Bastila who is essentially a mouthpiece for feminist ideas. A character who despite supposedly being a jedi (a force of good) comments that you should kill a husband because he wronged his wife in some way. The slight that the husband theatrically did is never explained so we’re supposed to just believe the wife at face value because #believeallwomen. You ever get tired of the constant misandry in the gaming industry? I know I do. It should also be mentioned that every female character that is morally grey or a sith is treated sympathetically while their male counterparts are outright evil with no depth. As you've probably guessed by now the overwhelming number of evil characters in the game are white men. Shocking I know. Because of the blatant agenda pushing of the devs the karma system in the game is basically pointless. All the “good” actions are actions that the writers believe are morally superior and ideologically agree with. All of the “evil” ones are actions that they feel their political enemies believe in. All in all it's quite hard to recommend this game unless you want to analyze the subversive politics it contains. Barring that it really isn't worth your time.

Hard to believe that this is the same company that created Max Payne 1 and 2. Control is a good example of the many things wrong with the industry. -Pretentious, convoluted, and outright bad writing that attempts to appear deep. -Stilted acting that is sometimes so uncomfortable I would believe it was done by amateurs. -Gameplay that prioritizes flash over substance. -Level design is just corridors that funnel you to the next boss fight arena. -Invisible walls that prevent alternative routes. -Women who are intentionally uglied up to appear more like men. -Over-reliance on codex entries and voice recordings to flesh out the already shaky world building. I honestly can't think of anything this game does well and because of that I can't really recommend it.

The devs cut dialogue and features in the game that they found "disgusting or offensive to women." The game also features a trigger warning every time you boot it up. I don't think I need to say more on why this game is inferior to the original. Don't give these woketards a single cent and just emulate the ps2 game, you'll have a better time trust me.

Featuring a cast of androgynous characters all of which are insufferable and are nothing but mouthpieces for woke politics. The most amusing example of this is Parvati an asexual lesbian who loves slam poetry and is too shy to talk to her crush without your emotional support. I'm not kidding this is the characters actual quest line, I swear it isn't tumblr fan-fiction. You also have dozens of head-shaven stronk wahmen, all of which are leaders in the game btw. They're all portrayed as saints and competent leaders that the people love meanwhile the few men that are in positions of power are portrayed as evil, incompetent, or stupid. And white, you can't forget white, remember all white men are evil. Are you picking up on the messaging at this point? I'm sure you are since subtlety isn't something the left is good at. Then of course there's the anti-capitalism message the devs and game promote, all the while charging 85 dollars for the "complete" game. Ah hypocrisy, the left knows you so well. It's no wonder why the gaming industry is in severe decline with garbage like this being released. I got this game for one dollar on game pass and it wasn't even worth that. You couldn't pay me to play this propaganda and I suggest you don't either. Spend your valuable time doing literately anything else.

It's communist propaganda, there's no gameplay to speak of, and the writing feels like the inner monologue of a redditor. My favorite part of the game was when I told another character that I don't support communism and was immediately labeled a fascist. The game then proceeded to tell me that fascism means that you hate women and want them wiped from the face of the earth. What?! LOL! You can't make this stuff up. No doubt there will be people who claim that this entire game is satire and attacks all ideologies equally but to those people I ask you this. Do you really believe that a developer who thanked Karl Marx for their "education" during a video game award show really has the ability to make a game that doesn't push an agenda? The only reason you should ever play this game is to laugh at the cringey politics of the dev team. Just make sure that you don't buy said product though, remember the devs are communists and therefore don't believe in personal property!
