Creative puzzles... check Fun platforming segments... check Good level design... check A confident and sassy Lara... check Double D's... check All the ingredients you need to make a good Tomb Raider game that stands the test of time. It's a shame that this trilogy didn't get more sequels. I'd take classic Lara over SJW millennial Lara any day.
As a kid playing this game back in the day I never would have dreamed that in the near future Marxists would in fact invade America and completely subvert American culture but here we are. Freedom Fighters provides an excellent way to vent your frustrations at the current regime ruining the west by letting you kill as many filthy commies as possible. It's quite cathartic really. Hats off to the writers for nailing the communist rhetoric and talking points so well. It goes without saying that you might want to make a backup of this game while you can, we all know it won't be available forever if the current party running things stays in power.
It doesn't really matter how many updates CDPR push out to try and shore up this sinking ship nothing will change the fact that there's still no role playing elements in this RPG. They would have to write an entirely new story with branching quests, with actual consequences, to come anywhere close to what was promised. I seriously doubt that will ever happen given the company's tendency to go radio silent on this games failures and their refusal to acknowledge their wrongdoings.
