I was 8 maybe when I first found this game and I did not have a good pc to play it... I am soo glad to have found it and even better... its ADDICTIVE and FUN. This game is another one of a kind gem. There are some annoying level designs yes, but overall it still hold as a good game.
Looks quite interesting visually and it really caught my attention... decided to look for a gameplay and guess what... the dumb persistent and disgusting woke mentally ruins one more possibly good game. Ill play something else where woman characters are beautiful to look at and I am not spoon fed unnecessary "diversity ".
I am so glad that I could relieve this games. I`ve "killed" soo many Sega tv stations with those yellow game cases and controllers when I was a kid. I used to play with my dad in duo and he always ended using all his lives and mine also every game. My only HUGE disappointment to this package is that it does NOT include Contra FORCE... I wanted sooo bad to play it and without those insane frame drops.
This game while good overall has been, unfortunately, the victim of the trend around the time of its production... the Dark Souls game like trend where you better bring the A game in every combat or you will get obliterated. A bit off since Fury should be far more powerfull even in a state like hers. I must admit that her character development ingame is quite well done and the transition from a spoiled karen to a mature and powerful woman is soo visible and nice to see. Pros: Decent story, with the 7 sins as bosses with a character development after each one. Cool new powers and weapons. Quite large but liniar world to explore. Cons: It felt off compared to the previous two and not in the good way. Less, "magical" than Darksiders 1 and 2. Combat was annoying at times as if you got unbalanced you would be obliterated by even the fodder demons. A good overall game but with a Dark Souls flaw... good for those who like that kind but its not the power fantasy Darksiders we knew.
Following the almost perfect mold of the previous game, Darksiders 2 took it a step forward into the right direction. Even MORE stuff to discover, battle, gather, explore than before. Less liniar and more.. loved than the previous game. Pros: Took the best parts of the previous and added interesting mechanics like the skill tree. The gear, while simmilar to a point to the one of War fits perfectly Death and the beutifully crafter world. Cons: Has some tedious quests where you walk / parkour too much and some... annoying bosses. Also some of the legendary gear is not as legendary vs a more generic one. Finish it twice... and I would play again.
I finished this game I think 4 or 5 times and I had a blast each run. I love the world, the story, the design, the characters... everything is soo well done. Pros: Lost of explorations and secrets to uncover, progressive gear unlock, exciting boss battles. Cons: A bit repetitive until you unlock more combat moves and weapoms and a bit grindy to max level the weapons. A must play!
It took me a little to fully understand what is happening and how things work, but when I understood, I enjoyed every jump. The graphics and movement freedom is great, the randomness make each episode fun. Overall there is quite the replayability.
I was so fond of the studio and their games until I found out they colaborated and directly supported sweet baby inc. Any colaboration with them means a direct insult to players.
