When I bought the game I expected a way simpler experience than I got; the narrative is way longer than I would have thought, and has more complexity and depth than I expected. I also really enjoyed the artstyle, the gameplay (both combat and outside of it), the travelling across the map and this wonderful soundtrack. The way supernatural/fantasy elements were included into the otherwise realistic world was also really enjoyable

While I think the newer Anno titles are better games, this one still holds up on it's own surprisingly well, the gameplay, while simple in comparison to modern titles, is still really working well and engaging. The graphics also have a lot of charme to them and are really lovely and it has the best soundtrack of the entire series (which all have good soundtracks)

I admit, I don't remember anymore if the story made any sense, I did however really like both main protagonists, the wild back and forth, the oppressive winter atmosphere in New York and the overall presentation of it all. It was a cool experience, like a fever dream

I think The Witcher 3 was completely overhyped and I don't even understand why. Don't get me wrong, I don't think it's a bad game but not that much of a masterpiece as many people declare it to be. Yes it's gorgeous, yes the combat is fun, but in terms of story and characterwriting? It lacks in my opinion, the scope was too big and many dialogues feel rushed, they lack depth, you meet a character, talk two sentences and are already on your way again! The mainstory suffers a lot from that. Nonetheless, I still grew to like some of hte characters, particularly Ciri and Avallac'h, and I wish desperately they could have gotten more and longer and deeper dialogues. However, "Blood & Wine" did all these things much better and I was hooked rather quickly when I realised this DLC (or rather full-blown Addon) won't repeat the mistakes of the main game. It's also the main reason I give this review 4 instead of 3 stars

As a hoarder in CRPGs and similar games this game was very rewarding. No seriously I had a lot of fun building up that shelter, taking care of the survivors and gathering ressources from the surrounding environments. I just wish the storylines would have had more depth
