The game is, in fact, short, you can easily it under an hour if you know what you are doing and the RNG gods bless you, it's a game of repetition, rerun the limited number of stages mixing biomes and builds to break the rutine,, it's perfect for those that can get suck in by perfectioinist challenges, the combat is fast and responsive, some weapon are very fun, some others not at all, enemies are varied and the bosses are a good challenge, unfortunately this kind of repetition is not my thing, I prefer a more finite experience, replaying games might have been fine in the past, but I'm not young anymore.

There's absolutekly no difference in the mechanics of the three games, same old technical issues too, this is basically a game that was chopped off in 3 parts to capitalize en Dead Space's popularity , but is short on everything, the visuals are passable, but the incesant screen shake is nauseous, the music is unispired, and so is the story, etc, I'm not gonna repeat myself, I already went over my opinions on this game on the first two entries.

Alright, I finished this one,as the first one is acompetent twin stick shooter, yet again is not gonna blow your mind, let me summarise the differences I noticed to the first game: - enemies are a bit tougher and a bit faster, this is good, - The visaula are improved , which is nice - The weapons, more or less, the hyper gun is amazing , I love it , the rocket launcher not so much, utterly useless in close quarters and only viable in a boss fight Things that didn't improve: - ambushes everywhere, the ship is more bugs than met, but waht really drives me mad is that they pop up when you are trying to loot. - Useless "containers" everywhere: 2/3 times the corpses and lockers have nothing in them, hardly the reward you would expect from getting ambushed while trying to loot - the story and the dialogue, or what little there is, becuse most of the talking is subtitles only and when you are busy mowing down enemies, fortunately the waypoint system elimiantes the need of paying attention , gotta love how the protagonist sounds suprised that the ghost ship is manufactured by the same corp he works for, you knoiw, the ghost ship with a similar design to yours, with the same operating system, that is somehow compatible with "current"tech even tho is centuries old - The upgrade system: upgrades are expensive, but well worth it, the catch, you can only have one upgrade in each weapon at a time, but the real kicker is that if you want to swap upgrades you have to buy the old one back, why? because the game hates you (go for damage and the healing boost on item upgrades) - The perforrmance issues are exactly the same as the first, after 40 minutes the game starts stuttering until it crashes, the fix: set affinity to a single core, worked on the first game, works on this one too Overall, the game is a hard sell, it doesn't excel at anything, but is not terrible , 3/5 thanks for the giveaway

ok, this is a fairly competent twin stick shooter, your ship collides with a derelict one, you get invaded by insectoid aliens , gotta escape your doomed vessel while mowing down hordes of enemies, fair enough, is not groundbreaking, you got a handful of weapons and a handful of items, the game will take you where you need to go, there are a few optional rooms with resources, and a few secret items to find, you can upgrade weapons and items for more firepower (free tip: don’t upgrade the rate of fire, you’ll just waste your ammo twice as fast) I played in veteran, not really hard, so you can try the hardest difficulty if you want a challenge ( use a gamepad, is more fun than M+KB) However, the game has some serious issues, the most glaring are performance issues, after a 40 minutes session the game starts to stutter with increasing magnitude until if freezes and crashes, tried disabling dynamic shadows and postprocessing , which only delayed the inevitable and made the game lose its atmosphere, so here’s a possible solution that worked for me: enable vsync in you graphics card and in game, the real kicker is setting the affinity of the game to a single core ( I know, the old single core fix works), I played for 3 hours straight until I got my hands on the Ionspike weapon, as soon as I used it the game crashed to desktop, I could go back and replay the last 15 minutes to see if that issue persists, but since it could be related to previous fixes it would mean A. I need to undo the fix and restart the game every so often to avoid stutter, or B. not use the most powerful weapon in the game to avoid a CTD, and honestly, the game is not that good, so I’ll leave it at that, I’m gonna try the sequel, see if they improved things there, thanks for reading.

Another great indie game, if you want some nsight about how the game works it is more an action adventure game more than anything else, with an hybrid of real time and turn based combat, which functions pretty much like a bullet time that you can activate to get out of harm's way or to plan your next attacks and get the best out of your synergies; and that takes me to the "functions" which are your attacks and skills, but you can equip one onto another to change the effect in varying degrees in addition you can equip "limiterds" that increase the difficulty of the encounters, but reward you with extra xp The story is not a selling point, but it gets the job done, the visuals are good and the music is superb, my biggest complaint being the game is too linear and sometimes you can inadvertedly advance the plot thinking you are just gonna inspect one of the many exploration points scattered around All in all, is a pretty good game, the flexibility of the combat being its biggest seeling point

I'm a fan of teh series and therefore I was enjoyuinmg my time with the game, but suddenly it stopped working, one day it was fine, the next it couldn't pass the startup logos, didn't try to fix iit since , welll, I played thi one back in the day so I already know how it ends That "llittle" issue aside the game holds up relatively well, the story is great, the voice acting is on point, the music is awesome, the combat is nothing elaborated, but it serves its purpose ( moving the story forward), my only complaint would be the camera, sometimes you feel like you are fighting the camera as much as you are fighting the enemies, otghher than that, great game

Enemies move faster than you can, I mean, I could deal with the sluggish pace at which the MC runs, but when enemies start running laps around you and closing in for melee attacks while you can do little about it is when the game stops beiing boring and becomes frustrating. otherwise the game seemed competent enough, but the unbalanced moovement speed is a fatal flaw and I can't imagine how they beta tested this and said "yup, that's perfectly balanced, ship it".

This game is broken, first time after installing it would crash right on the main menu, I wasn't even able to change the configuration without a CTD, I tried everything, checked for file integrity, compatibility mode, and after I changed my GPU configuration it "worked" I was finally able to actually play the game for a while. Today I got similar results on my first session, but now I am trying to play and it's back to square 1 all over again, except that there's nothing more I can do, the game just kkeeps crashing, this is unacceptable and I refuse keep wasting my time trying to make it work again.

I broke the game, after the first boss (or so I assume) there's is this temple and at some point you ligfht a giant brazier to move forward, but doing so also spawns some mobs, including one that acts very much like the first boss, the thing is, instead of fighting it I backtracked to check more of the map and found a way to kill said mob through a closed gate, unfortunately this little sequence break closed the intended path I, therefore I cannot move forward and since I had not saved my only option was to restart the whole level, and I can't be bothered, I'd rather move on with my life. There you have it, I couldn't deliver a review for you, just a sad story so hopefully you won't make the same mistake.

from the moment you start the game you can tell this was pretty much inpired by diablo, similar music, similar systems, same gameplay loop, so it might be worth your time if you like these type of games. The good: - each talent can be accesed as long as you hit the needed level so you don't need to waste points on required but useless skills - armor requirements vary greatly and if rng is merciful you can end with a pretty tanky spec even if you are not focused on strenght - all three classes get a pet that can carry items for you, and they can be transformed temporaily or permanently by feeding them fish - an extra way of gaining skill points beyond leveling up via the Fame level gained by killing unique monsters - playing a mage is very fun, the spells can pack quiite a punch and even hit enemies behind walls - you can acquire "maps" that open portals to mini dungeons so you can grind The bad - game gets very repetitive, as is expected on these grindfests - RNG is a merciless god - enemies that can oneshot you even before they are visible on the screen ( this is the reason I stopped playing, nothing like being bombarded with homing missiles from offscreen enemies to make me lose interest really fast) - The camera sits too close to the character at max zoom out Overall, the game has some good ideas, but falls short Diablo did it better
