I am stunned to see Questron II having little review love on GOG. I thought this and Phantasie where the two best series SSI ever did. A deep, long game experience worthy of RPG fan. An amazing story, great gameplay and such challenging puzzles, I can't highly recommend this one enough. I am a HUGE SSI fan and being able to buy these has made my day, my week, my month, and maybe my year!
Demon's Winter was the first game that really gave me a hard time as a kid. I still love the experience of beating Malifon. The writing is honestly amazing and worth the experience. My least favorite graphically of the 80s SSI RPGs, but still great!
I played this game for HOURS at school after I installed in our typing class. Shard of Spring really captured the D&D feel back in the day. I could see the kids of Stranger things playing these!
Wizard's Crown is another one of SSI's 80s masterpieces. I LOVED the SSI brand as a kid in the 90s. I played these with my Mom and fell in love with roleplaying games for life! The story is great, the party system is fun and a must have. Reminds me of early Elder Scolls.
I just saw a bunch of these old SSI Games on the current Classic sale. I didn't even know they were on GOG. Sword of Aragon is the definitive 4x RPG game of all time. While the UI is very dated, the gameplay, story, and strategic elements of the game still excel even today! This is a MUST Own for anyone!
