Here's my mod you might want to add to the list, I'm sure few of you guys will be happy (It's not really our fault that the pheromones are automatically selected for potion making)

<span class="bold">Troll Trouble Quick Fix</span> - [Download] - Updated 05-22-2011
A mod that adds the Troll Head and Tongue to Sendler's shop inventory so that you can purchase them. Handy if you finish the poker quest and pick a reward before getting to the proper point in the Troll Trouble quest line.
If you were like me and accidentally wasted your Queen Endrega's Pheromones on a potion before act 3 due to poor game design and now cannot complete your quest for the best Steel Sword in the game.

Here's a fix to add
Queen Endrega's Pheromones x1
to Bras' items for sale, he's the npc that gives you the quest in the first place.

Edit the def_shops.xml file, look for Bras and add this line to his list of items for sale:

<loot_entry name="Endriag Queen Pheromones" chance="100" quantity_max="1" quantity_min="1" respawn_time="14400"></loot_entry>

Et voilà!

Edit: Or you can just Download from Nexus

Leondres: I'm all for the official fix, but the issue is at this point is there is no word on when this is coming. I wish I would have known they weren't including other resolutions for the release, I would have waited on buying the game.

I can't enjoy the game as it stands right now, I'll take whatever I can get at this point since CD projekt has said nothing on when its coming for sure. I don't want to have to wait weeks to just play and enjoy the game.

eRe4s3r: Well no word indeed, but the "word" has been that its not gonna be fixed in the next patch. So i can understand you perfectly ,) I am in the party with the 4:3/5:4 problem so to me the black bars are 1/3 of the screen.

And stretching the image looks very, very wrong. ;(
I finally got it to work, I had to run the game via the base exe file as an admin, have the fix loaded up but OFF, then after the game loads, tab out, and enable the fix, tab back in and poof, stretched full screen. I can finally play now without feeling sick. The stretching doesn't bother me. This will do until there is an official fix.

HUD Tweaks - [Screenshot 1, Screenshot 2] - [Download] - Updated 05-23-2011
Adds a mini-map direction pointer, combat crosshair, reduces the size of the target lock indicator, and reduces the amount of clicking needed to use the quick select menu.

404 error on the link, it's either deleted or moved
All my game tweak mods (oil, potion and crafting fee) are now combined here
http://www.witchernexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=5

The Download link of these 3 should thus go directly to the witchernexus please.

And the "Return of the Black Wolf" mod should link here
http://www.witchernexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=6

Also its name changed to The black haired wolf - simply to avoid confusion with the white hair mod ;)

Edit: Forgot that the name change ;p

And the White Wolf is here: http://www.witchernexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=2.
Now that we have a dedicated modding website I suppose I don't need to list everything in the OP anymore (which is good since I already hit the space limit!). As mods migrate to the nexus I suppose maintaining a list here would be a waste of time. What do you guys think should go in the first post now? Recommended mods? Links to modding sites and resources?

A link to the nexus (and links to the mod tutorials) would suffice i think. But maybe wait a bit with this, not all mods are on the nexus yet. But once they are maybe it should be just a sort of

"Are you looking for mods - look no further than http://witchernexus.com kind of page.

As well as links to the mod tutorials. Though atm that is not a lot of info, it might become more later on. I think we could probably even transfer the tutorials on witchernexus but fact is that I don't own any rights to the tools, so the original tool and script writers would need to do that. Whether they want to, or even care, i do not know.

Do you think if I set up the Nexus Wiki to take on Witcher content it would be used for Witcher 2 modding tutorials/examples?

My two modded cents - <span class="bold">Weightless Recipes and Schematics</span>
Now the game creators aren't gonna like me mentioning this but when I was going through some of the files I saw that there are 3 DLC shopkeepers with unique items in their inventory. I would assume that you could copy those items and allow any shop keeper to sell them. On the condition that they were included on disc. If they had missing features then of course they won't work.
