Good news, everyone!
We now have a <span class="bold">Witcher Nexus</span> site.

The full list of mods has grown too large for this thread due to the character limit on posts.

Please see this <span class="bold">GOOGLE DOC</span> for the updated list.

Great post. I'll try one eventually. Right now I am just lucky enough to get the game working. Hopefully the mods work.
Very nice ;) Though i realize now i should probably have made a readme for each of my little mod things. Ah well.
Missed the mod for uncensoring the Australian version:

Thanks.

Just added that and a troll trouble quest fix that I found in another thread.

Oh yes, readme... I always want a readme in the download, so I don't have to go back to the topic. And of course I forget to include one in my own mod *facepalm*. Will correct that.
This should get stickied - there's no official forum and no mod forum yet and GOG seems to be very very active now, with mod posts getting down so quickly. Great work collecting the info!
Very awesome!
Nice list. I'm glad to see every collected into one no matter whether or not they're technically cheats.

I'm wondering how the potion duration mod effects game balance. I didn't even realize that potion counters continued running during cutscenes, that seems like an extreme oversight to me.

It changes game balance depending on what version you use, at 30m it makes potions actually useful. And weapon oils/potions a choice that will last you through a "segment" of battle (which has the same enemies) which is the way the Lore explains potions and oils. As for game-balance, you can win the game without any potions and oils on HARD so it doesn't make a lot of difference.
sorry i did not see this anywhere. how do you actually install the mods once downloaded?

thanks for any help and thank you for this post!!
This is right down PLOUGHING AMAZING!
Now just tell me: HOW IN THE PLOUGHING HELL DO YOU DO THIS?!?!?!
I mean I searched and haven't found ANY tools for making mods for this game yet :O

OOPS.
Sorry, didn't notice that at the bottom. My big ploughing thanX!

Right, so what's the folder path for this def_ststs_item_potion.xml??? Can't see any readme or instruction...

When I try to download the potion extension only thing I get is the bare .xml file. Not even in the archive :O

Click on a mods bold name to get to their forum topics to see the alternative versions, and for the install instructions.

Before this topic there wasn't really a need to pack a readme in ;)
Sorry if there was some confusion. I added some general info to the first post to try and clarify things a bit.
keep this wonderful thread alive. i wish i t was stickied since mods will keep on showing up.

p.s. - where can we ask for mods?
personally i'd love a blocking mod where it takes less vigor to block, so instead of being able to block 2 hits i can block more. like 3 or 4.
and better than that - a way to stop an attack mid-sway to block.
