I wanted to ask for help with some really weird bugs that happen when I set up RE2 specifically. With the game suffering from heavy visual glitches once I launch it from the Rebirth Menu. This doesn't happen and I have tried using both day 1 and latest versions of GOG as well as the links mention here to redownload the components. The errors keep appearing regardless if it's build in the GOG or an external folder.I have even tried copy and pasting the sourcenext files contents from folder to folder to see if there was a mistake made during that process but nothing changed.

RE3 Rebirth by contrast launches perfectly, I have an NVidia card and I am running it on Windows 11 so I have run out of ideas of what could be causing these bugs.

Edit: After comparing my files with someone with a legit Sourcenext version, it has become clear they are downright identical, whatever it's causing these errors is either in the Classic Rebirth mod, the Bio 1.1 it's build around or my OS (which doesn't make sense because I have seen people run this in Windows 11).

Edit2: I finally fix it, dgvoodoo was the solution despite me not using an AMD card and RE3 running fine. Really bizarre. BTW if you come to this with similar issues, use a few versions late of the program. The developer does so many updates that the most recent one will almost always trigger a FP trojan alert because they haven't been whitelisted yet. Use a slightly older version bypasses this mayor inconvinience. If you want to know how to use it, go to the Rebirth page and follow the reshade tutorial, just without the need to do the Reshade part.

For re3 these instructions are so confusing:

1. Install Japanese GOG versions for Resident Evil 1-2-3
2. SourceNext Conversion Patch for RE2 / RE3 (Not needed for RE1)
3. Classic Rebirth DLL
4. Official Capcom Patches for Updated .exe Files (Found in Classic Rebirth's Resources pages)
5. Teamx's HD Mod (Resident Evil HD Mods)
6. Seamless HD Project
7. HQ Audio mods*
8. HQ Video mods**

For steps 5 and 6 u have the download links out of order...and the file names are literally:

Resident_Evil_3_HD_mod_v20220716.zip
RE3_SHDP_2.0_update_for_TeamX_HD_patch.zip

Which is which? TeamX's HD Mod is actually the first one.
How can this be any more confusing still?
Well if you follow the order originally stated, you'll endup with the weird lean font and oldschool photos in the item menu. If you got the wrong order, you'll get a much nicer thicker looking text and the nicer item menu and nicer zombie models as far as I could tell. So were you telling us to pick the one we liked and choose that...or were we supposed to merge them as u stated....and did u get the order wrong or were we supposed to decide the order....none of this was clear.
And step 7 is only needed if the game tells u its needed when u try to launch. Step 8 downgraded the quality of some cutscenes (the first intro scene is a big standout... can check the mp4 file its supposed to look worse it was installed properly) and seemingly increased file size at no change to the others....so just dont do it. And step 3 and 4 seem included already in step 2.

So really the steps as far as I can tell for re3 are actually:
1. Install Japanese GOG re3 (u can chooose english for the installation wizard? I just did, worked)
2. SourceNext Conversation Patch (follow the .txt file instructions) (game crashes if u test it, that's fine)
3. Choose either or both SHDP+HD_mod (if both install in the order that looks best ingame?)
4. Download the Audio Mod from the re3 rebirth site 'if it prompts you to do so cause u are on an older OS"

So I tried again installing things and....it seems u can just choose 1 of either SHDP or HD_mod rather than both...and I highly recommend choosing just Resident_Evil_3_HD_mod_v20220716.zip as it has a more modern looking menu and nicer text....if u want a more retro pixel look then choose the other one.
