MartinSp: You can get both the mod and the extractor from my other mod here: https://www.nexusmods.com/residentevil3nemesis/mods/47
Good to know there is another way to download this. Thanks.
Going to be perfectly honest. Resident Evil 3 is my favourite classic RE, but the steps involved to mod it are pretty involved and, at times, unclear. I might just wait and see if someone makes an easy to install HD background pack.
ClassicREbirth does not require files to be unpacked... You can simply place the mod files in the game directory and you're good to go.

Nevertheless, it is not that difficult to extract the files for the base game. The Background Fix mod contains an an easy-to-useunpacker.

A HD background package is already available, but only works with RE3CR: https://www.reshdp.com/re3/

Is there a possibility to stretch the image for Sourcenext, like on the GOG version?

Edit It's okay, I've figured out how to do it with reshade!

Are there easy & extract mod packs for these Resident Evil titles? I don't really have much time research how to install these, since my work is time demanding and i don't spend much time at home, so i was curious if there any

I've made a new HD mod and created a complete and easy to apply package for the GOG version. Fo far it's only for RE2:

I cannot replicate that error, sorry.
EDIT:

OK I think I fixed it usind the dgVoodoo solution.
-------------------------------
Hi!

I used to play the trilogy with Classic Rebirth before this GOG version, on Windows 10 using the integrated graphics of my old 7700k. It used to run perfectly.

Now I am using a 12700k and Windows 11 and I am having problems: re1 crashes after the capcom video, re2 has visual glitches - re3 seems to be ok.

That said, I am afraid of the GOG version not running properly on my current machine, since it should not be so different from these "alternative" versions.

So, I would like to know if anybody here can play the pre-gog games +CR on W11 or w11 with integrated graphics.

Thanks!

EDIT: CR worked here after using the dgVoodoo fix.

-------------------------
Hi!

Following the previous post.

I tested the GOG version, and it worked on my W11 / Intel Arc graphics.

Now I'll try to make the CR dll and mods work. But it keeps crashing just like with the "alternative" games I had before.

The description for the High Quality Audio mod for RE1 says
>Source sound:
>BioHazard Director's Cut PSF Rip by Mark Grass
>BioHazard Director's Cut DUAL SHOCK Ver. PSF Rip by Mark Grass
Anyone have the Dual Shock PSF rip? The regular and DC are on HCS, but I can't find the DS rip anywhere.
Also, while I'm at it, the Classic Rebirth page gives a download for the regular HQ Audio. Is there any source/documentation on this? For 2 and 3 at least, cutting the soundtracks would be higher quality than using PSF's, where possible.

Note: after installing everything in the correct order from the OP EXCEPT for HQ Videos (therefore using the default Videos from HDMOD/Seamless the mansion entrance door opening cutscene "There are only three S.T.A.R.S. members left..." gets cut off immediately and feeds right into the cast sequence. I think this is a Seamless issue since that is the last one I overwrote any movie files with.

Update: I noticed that if I play the video directly from the MOVIES folder it does not skip that part, so it must be something triggering in-game.

RE1 keeps crashing to desktop with no error diplayed. The Mediakite 1.01 version wouldn't run by itself, but does with ClassicRebirth. No other mods or changes. Tried dgVoodoo2 despite not being on an AMD card but same result. The US version seems to work fine though, I got to the scene of Barry shooting the zombie in the dining room without a problem.

Any ideas? Did I miss something somewhere?
