Hey! I'am looking for most damaging melee builds. Can you post 2 - 3 most OP pure dps melee physical dps builds. Build or link on a build will be appreciated.

Thanks.

trip vivi and saint vivisectionist are the ones.
If you want something with less buttons Slayer will do fine as well.

First game, and I've been following the Kineticist (the first one, not Unfair Kineticist) build from this thread.

I'm one level away from Deadly Earth, which is supposedly the "I win" button of this class.
The thing is... I'm not that great with abilities that can damage my own party. My fights tend to degenerate into wild melees pretty much immediately.
The other thing is, I'm playing on normal, so it's not like I really need the "I win" button.

So, keeping the Monk 1 / Kineticist X build, because I like that, what might be other fun options to explore here, instead of going for earth/fire Deadly Earth? Anything interesting in the other elemental combos to be had? Melee-focused builds preferred, if that makes a difference.

That's not how you kineticist. You are the party from that point on. The eagle flies alone. You don't need anyone. And if you do - cast it on the line of engagement AFTER everyone is engaged.
First of all, thanks for the great guides.

I was thinking of following the Sword Saint build from your Unfair guide.
However I would like to do it as a human and am not sure how to adapt the build/skills/items etc.

I have yet to complete the game and am not very good with the rules of these games, so I'm not sure I mess up some important breakpoints etc. if I change something.

Also, I tried following your Slayer guide, but I gave up after a while, since I just didn't understand how to play it and was really confused since it takes two weapon stuff, shieldstuff and unarmed stuff.

Human saint would be pretty much the same, except you'd have a bit less cha and a bit more skillpoints. Since you'd have 1 more feat at level 1 you can take deceitful there. Will be useful. Move up crit to 13 and take whatever you like at 15. I'd probably go for power attack there since you'd amass stupid high AB by then anyways, so you would be able to hit most things with PA on. Probably would be pita for unfair since AC ramp is very important there. For everything else it'll be more than fine.

Slayer is actually pretty easy. What you do is bash with your shield(so long as it's not a tower shield) and use whatever best weapon you have and switching to allslayer for late-game. It's a fairly standard shield bash fighter, except good. Unarmed stuff is for the crane style access to ramp up the AC.

do monks really maintain their bonus ac even when using a shield? say a heavy shield? because I don't think it's supposed to work that way? the description says they lose the bonus when armored or using a shield?

there are lots of things that ain't supposed to work. Monk if general is broken all the way. Like you shouldn't get flurry with twf for starters, then monk AC does indeed work with shields, Crane wing works with any melee weapon, bonuses to natural attacks stack indefinitely, so with magic fang, amulet, robes and gloves you can get to +18AB/damage or something in the ballpark. Then there are monk robes that give dodge AC even though pathfinder rules explicitly say items can't have dodge AC... probably more that I don't recall off the top of my head. And that's just monk.

Probably most ovepowered melee dmg is STR monk. Early glass cannon, but in late with proper bufs he did 100dmg per hit with realy high atack bonus and still have 50+AC. Not archetype dependable. If you need WIS char take monk or tradicional. If need CHA take scale fist. Probably little better is WIS because as dmg monk you must be lawfull evil for robe then you cannot take CHA to saves from paladin or bestow grace. But dont forget you need 5 mobility for dragon style.

Another my favorite melee is Vivisectionist with reach weapon. You can go 20vivi or 15vivi/1archeologist/4DD. Both working. Maybe SS will work too coz vivi is INT caster. But i dont try it. Nice bufer and awesome dmg coz sneaks. And maybe higest STR from all builds. DD + big mutagen powa. And many many feats for menance play :)

Yeah, but I meant that the robes specifically say in game that they give dodge ac. Whereas the broken monk feats have incorrect in-game descriptions, they chose to change the rules, that's 100% fine, but then they didn't rewrite the descriptions to match the changes they made? That's the part that keeps confusing me about what's what.

I never played PnP pathfinder, so I'm not confused by changes from PnP, but I am confused by changes that don't match in-game descriptions!

A rule of thumb is to never trust what the game tells you till you see it(or not) in the combat log.

And then there are things that work... odd. Like duration ground-based AoE spells(clouds, web, grease, etc) that force 2 saves on the 1st round. Like... why? I can understand crane wing as it's actually crutches for armored characters more so than for monk ones, but that's just stupid. Same with bite-stacking(which is another thing that's explicitly prohibited. You should get exactly one secondary attack with it).

Hey! I have a Question regarding your Bard Valerie build. Is it okay to take Trickery instead of Perception? My MC is already maxing Perception it. I'm not sure if it's worth to have 2 characters with that and I'm really in a need of a Trickery character.

Would You reccommend one of your Unfair Bard Vallerie builds over the one posted here?

Team Composition right now is MC being Melee/Front, Sylvan Sorc(Merc), Bard Valerie, and Cleric Jaethal.

I'm unsure yet if I want to make the Team larger. It does seem like it would profit from Alchemist/Jubilost as I have 2 pets right now.

You can. Although it won't be very beneficial as she'll go in armor that'd totally destroy her trickery and playing dress-up for every trap will get old fast. Either way you need multiple perception and trickery characters anyways.

They are exactly the same. The monk one is less of a bard and more of a damage dealer that can sing a bit.

Jubi is always nice as a main trickery guy who marries double crosses amulet and he covers all knowledge checks too. Really exp shenanigans are only relevant to do till trolls to enter the fort at lvl10. Then the gains are not spectacular and it's better to share everything and just hog big persuasion checks for MC.

Ah this turned into a Headache real fast lol. Jaethal Will be Perception too so I have 2 characters going for that. Guess I will take the suffering in A1 with removing armor on val and add Jubi in A2 and run with 5 people and lvl a bit slower.

Thank you very much.
