So, the update on pirate website like TPB makes the game working great (on phenom)

But the official update on GoG doesn't? What is wrong with this shit ! Good to know for the next game I want to buy, It will be Pirated version > Steam > GoG !

ScareYa: Still not available as non-Galaxy download (13:45 CEST). Any word when the patch will be available as normal download?

EDIT: Just found the non-Galaxy version 1284085 (gog-3) of No Man's Sky available as full download. Just the patch itself is still missing.
isn't 1284085 (gog-3) the patch, otherwise patch probably not on galaxy either. hasn't worked for me.

EDIT: Hasn't worked

There isn't a link for a patch right now, either download the complete gog-3 install, or update through the gog client. Both have the patch, but the gog client will update at 900MB instead or 2.5GB
well the steam version is different than ours we have 1284085 they have 2185581

There's a whole new install package in your library.

Usually there would also be a separate patch-only version. I'm not sure if there's just a delay with that, or if HG only supplied a new install.
This is so dissapointing. Again... :/

But at least something seems to be happening behind the scenes.

Yup.. I finally decided to do this. I don't see getting a patch as piracy, as I already bought the game, so I feel fine about it.

I was able to play the game IMMEDIATELY after the TPB patch files were applied. I did change the username and the language of course. Other than that, changed nothing and it works beautifully. The game starts a little stuttery during the opening star field sequence but I attribute that to "loading" all the assets etc. Once I was in the game and in control, it was as smooth as I would expect.

Here is what HG said about that (from the Steam forums):
Shader Caching
Framerate was initially stuttering due to shaders not being correctly cached by the GPU on some systems. We have replaced the GPU caching system. You may notice some stutter during the Galactic Map intro to the game (the very first time you run), but it should be smoother from then on (this will be fixed in future). This is particularly true on ATI cards

Cool. It was exactly that then. And yes, I have an ATI Sapphire Radeon R9 280X, so that part also relevant.

It's not really the "patch", it's the updated full package of No Man's Sky. But you can just download this new version, deinstall the old one on your computer (be sure to select "keep save games") and reinstall the new version 1284085 you just downloaded. Works perfectly for me.

yeah done all that, it anit working. could you get pass the HG logo before the update?
I have a 40-50% better performance with this new version... Initial version worked with about 7 FPS.
I can now reach 10 FPS. Great...

"Patch just out for PC version - Steam and GoG. Patch in submission for PS4 version, should be out very soon.
Even though less than one per cent of players have raised support issues, we're going to resolve roughly 70% of them this week"
Odd I was thinking it more at 5% that were having problems...
Guessing with how loud minority been figured it was more.

So maybe 10,000 people ish?

CarSpy: I got the steam Experimental 3 Patch from TPB game works all setteings on max no lag no crashing GOG updates game crashing again at hello games
Can confirm steam Experimental 3 Patch from TPB is working for me. Looks like GOG has been shat on again. This is why GOG users should have had access to the Experimental in the first place.
