If you're the escapist type this one will most certainly live up to your expectations.

In Two Worlds 2 you can ride on horseback, craft items, forge weapons and armor, and even brew potions. The game offers a diverse landscape of forests, deserts, swamps, seashores, cities, and fields, venturing deep into forgotten caverns and dungeons. The way you develop your character is entirely left to your decision. Combine the skills of a ranger, a mage, and a warrior, balancing the focus and creating your own perfect build. The Epic Edition offered on GOG.com includes the original Two Worlds II, the Pirates of the Flying Fortress expansion, and Two Worlds II: Castle Defense.

A whole new life in a fantastic realm far, far away is now well within your reach. Get Two Worlds 2 Epic Edition, for only $9.99 on GOG.com! The release promo offer lasts until Thursday, May 2, at 9:59AM GMT.

RS1978: GOG brings back the joy in buying games for me. :)
Yeah, you don't have to tell me that. lol Just that I spent $150 on Original Sin Kickstarter and desperately need to save money.
Woohoo! Me so happy me never buy this elsewhere, like Steam for example.

Insta-bought!

Epic Edition, huh? Do we get to go on an epic journey for epic loot on an epic horse? Is the story an epic epic? Do we get to see epic battles? Sounds epic, though I'd prefer a Smurf Edition.

Roman5: Good release and Fantastic price

DRM free + Extras + All expansion and content included = This is how you do modern releases on GOG, very well done Topware

The price is also Fantastic

This game + 2 expansions = 40 Euros on Steam

The same game + Extras and DRM free here = 10 Dollars

I rate this release a 10 out of 10

Edit: This is also going in my "Amazing value" GOGmix

cyboff: all is nice... but.... but still there is something missing... something like... like... Mac version?
Because GOG.com offers everything for the same price $9,99 in this case, which is already a magnificent low price. This game because of developers costs for a Mac version of the game (which is there) might have been significant and the developers they might not been agreeing with the same price of $9,99 for the Mac version as well.

However maybe in the near future the developers will might be enlightend and offer it for the same price as the Windows version. The same happened most likely for psychonauts which is now as well on GOG.com as native release (no wine port) by the developers.

Yes, I will buy it on GOG too. :)

I hope we will see a lot more games on GOG in future, classics and new ones, because that's the only real way tu buy them. Keep on the excellent work GOG!

It's not 'The Gogan Times', we can't ascertain the validity of their sources !

For $10 it is a steal without any debate, but I believe the main reason is, that GOG have to prepare and test their own mac .dmg image :D

I don't think so, because they don't want have an arque with the publisher which already made them a fine deal for such a low price and then backstabbing them with a cheaper own Mac wine port release then there own expensive developed one ;)

G-Doc: Anyway--tomorrow a new episode will be made public. It will contain a hint of an actual classic release. That will be the final "classic release" hint. I'm not taking chances calling it that anymore. Next week episode will feature "enigmatic release" hint instead.
That may be for the best. (2005 is about my personal threshold for "classic".) Thanks for trying to appeal to finicky "good old games"-desiring people like me, however.

Here's to hoping what you said about "mind-blowing" classics in May still stands, to make me, tburger, keeveek and these 10,000+ munchkins happy. :)

+1. Great image, so it deserves a +1 rep.

On topic, I don't think I'll buy this game soon, as I already have the first one, and I didn't play with it, so I think I should finish the first game before buying the sequel.
