Good thing I have a huge backlog, this wait I can wait a looooooooong time tillall games I'd like to buy come to GOG :P
So, this games looks really gorgeous, and it seems it's good enough. But what about the puzzles? Are they doable? For a novice?
And how's the story? (if there is one :P).

For this price, I might buy it anyway, since I had my eyes on Trine 2 for some time now!
I'm glad to see the game finally show up here, but they should have done so before it was in a Humble Bundle. I feel more people would have bought it here that now will pass because they got it in the bundle.

Still a good release to see on GOG.

Edit: Nice way to get people to buy both by it being 50 cents cheaper :P

I waited years for this! Bought it at the first humble sale (with all to charity), finally bought it here as well.

Frozen bytes, take note. DRM-free ftw :)
Trine 2 is quite a beautiful looking game. Trine as well. Fun gameplay, too. Highly recommended for people who haven't played these yet.

GOG.com: on GOG.com, for Windows and Mac OS X
Is the Mac version available on GOG or not? The announcement says so (at least for Trine 2), the game page says only "Compatible with Windows". However, the small print below the description lists Mac system requirements. Same for Trine 1. So, are the Mac versions included?
Great release. And at exactly the right time as well!

I was thinking of buying Trine 2 for myself and my sister as a Christmas present to play co-op with her. With a sweet deal like this on GOG, the "thinking about it" part instantly changed to "it's going to happen" ;)

tinyE: I had to turn the graphics options all the way down but she works. :D
Well congrats then! I can launch it, but it's too slow to be playable even at the lowest settings on either Windows or Linux. Trine 2 may have gotten me a job, but that job has yet to pay for a new PC.

Sorry about that. Both Trines should be showing Mac compatibility along with Windows :)

If you bought it from the humble bundle, then you DID get it DRM-free.

The puzzles are doable for a novice. In the main, they are physics and character-specific i.e. the wizard has to do a certain puzzle. The only thing which may be a little annoying is the auto-save points in T1 are at the end of each level which can take 20 to 40 mins to reach (there's no manual save).

The story is ok and the characters are charming enough.

Overall the gameplay clinched it for me. For the price, I'd definitely recommend both.
NIce. Guess I'm finally getting around to getting the first Trine here, too - that I've bought and beaten long ago - since it makes part 2 a little cheaper .
