Strike against the Darkfall!

Thunderscape, a classic 1990s dungeon crawler with real-time exploration of a vast and diverse underworld and challenging turn-based combat against many fearsome fiends of chaos, is available on GOG.com for only $5.99.

The world of Aden is in great peril. The demonic, corruptive power known as the Darkfall fills the world with monsters, abominations, and evil-inspiring artifacts. The realm is in dire need of defenders, and it's your job to lead them against the forces of chaos. You will explore a dark and dangerous underground to reach for the power you'll need to bring the light to where darkness reigns. A small party of stalwart adventurers seems to stand little chance against the hordes of evil. It's up to you to prove, that miracles do happen in fantasy worlds.

Thunderscape presents you with many time-proven RPG ideas that work together so well, that it's astounding that anyone would want to modify them. You get a party of six brave champions, a large gameworld to explore, lots of items to collect, stats to build, and enemies to slay. While roaming the world, the game progresses in real-time, switching to turn-based combat whenever you approach (or get ambushed by) an opponent. With everything that made dungeon crawlers so successful in the 1990 and some very distinctive steampunk-ish feel, this game is highly recommended to all cRPG fans looking for a challenge!

Set off to explore the world of Aden and save it from the corruptive forces of the Darkfall in Thunderscape, for only $5.99 on GOG.com.

xep624: How come I never heard about this game? Looks like Black Crypt, although the graphics are nicer...
Black Crypt is a Dungeon Master clone, this one has turn-based combat.
Sweet never seen this before but is my cup of tea. Wishlisted for now til i get some games played.
I wonder how many people demanding a constant stream of classics will buy this day 1.
Hmmmmm, new publisher on GOG. Cool.

This looks awesome. Wishlisted for now, but definitely my type of game.

RadonGOG: I´d be REALLY surprised if GOG get any games from Blizzard...

deadfolk: Blizzard? If you're referring to WC, that's Wing Commander, not Warcraft. The rest of the Wing Commander games have been confirmed as coming to GoG.
OK, that´s the same game with Starcraft and SupCom:
Nobody knows what the one who´s talking means with SC...

I still remember couple fights in Black Crypt - this game was way to difficult for me when I was a teenager, but nothing beats good turn based fights in RPGs.

SC = Supreme Commander

Wait a sec...why the hell isn't Supreme Commander on GOG yet? We got Square enix on board already haven't we?
was Supreme commander 1 distributed by THQ so no idea who has the rights for that.

tburger: Nice - wishlisted for now. So 3 games from TeT's poem left...Still waiting for WC games and Wasteland.

It's rather not the case - at least not now. I'll be pleased if remaining WC games are just a part of next wave of EA's classics.

EDIT: Sorry for not being clear. WC - Wing Commander :-)

Erich_Zann: Good. Entomorph next ?
Got this one boxed, bought it again anyway. This is the kind of things I want to see on GOG.
This seems to suggest that Entomorph will follow.

Starting in the early 2000s, Kyoudai Games was already pursuing the IP for this property. “We started playing around the early 1990s and began talks as early as 2000 for purchasing the IP, ERyan shared. For over a decade, the group was in talks for obtaining the IP, or Intellectual Property, for the original RPG Thunderscape. This IP included the original game, two PC games, and 3 novels. With the purchase of the Thunderscape name, all of the IP is now in their possession. The RPG is being completely revamped, while the PC games will be re-released on Good Old Games.
Wow. Nice release. Definitely I will grab it.

I guess we'll soon be playing titles such like Strahd's Possesion, Stone Prophet, Dark Sun, etc... Maybe even we'll get some of the AD&D Gold Box Classics.
I never heard of this one but it looks good. I will give it a shot later on.
