Don't miss the Demon War expansion, 50% off like the main game!

Din's Curse, a astoundingly deep and replayable hack-and-slash type fantasy RPG with randomized world generation, is available 50% off for Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux. That's only $4.99 for the first week. For that time, you can also get the Demon War expansion for $2.49.

In Din's Curse, you will explore an extensive underground, slaying dangerous monsters, solving dynamic quests, dodging deadly traps, and in your spare time, plundering loot. Quell uprisings, flush out traitors, kill assassins, cure plagues, purge curses, end wars, and complete other dangerous quests or the danger WILL escalate. Not all is as it seems though, traitors will gladly stab you in the back, renegades can revolt against the town, spies can set up ambushes, and items might even curse or possess your friends.
Choose one of 141 class combinations and journey to an infinite number of dynamically generated towns with vastly different problems. Every game is a surprise! Your actions have real consequences in this dynamic, evolving world. Your choices actually matter!

If you're up for a truly original, open-ended action-RPG experience, make sure you pick up both Din's Curse and it's Demon War add-on for only $7.48 total. The 50% off special release discount for both will last until Tuesday, October 14, at 1:59PM GMT.

Matruchus: Is there any chance that gog will offer Drox Operative from the same developer as Din's Curse? That game would really rock.
I'm sure they will, but given the 8 month gap between Depths and Din's, I wouldn't expect it too soon.

are dins curse and darkstone similar?

Din's Curse is a little bit of Darkstone, a hint of Diablo 1, a pinch of Titan Quest and a handful of Depths of Peril (from the same devs). That's why I recommend giving the demo a try to get a good impression of what it's really like.

gkoczyk: Anyone bought and successfully downloaded Demon War DLC ?

I am through 2nd round of mails with GOG support over this at the moment (persistent problem with downloading) - and wondering if the problem really lies on my side (3 different computers can not seem to fetch the files either through GOG downloader or through browser link, went through fixes recommended by support twice with zero effect).

JudasIscariot: What problems are you experiencing? Anything specific?

edit: if you're trying to download the game via the Downloader please try downloading it via your browser for now. I just checked the links and everything looks to be in order...
Success ! I've actually managed to get it working after going to https://secure.gog.com/account/refresh - on a whim (read through recent missing games thread, figured it might be something similar). Of note, up until the refresh the DLC had a separate library card - now it reads as +1DLC added to main game.
Does Judas get a comission for every copy sold post-stream?
Anyway, sold! You had me at "wasn't advertised much in indie hipster circles".

Nah, I just like the game and that's why I chose it to be the game streamed after our Q&A session :) I hope you enjoy the game :)

Bought the game on release, but having never played it, I took the opportunity to get an introduction to the gameplay. Even though I could hear only your part of the dialogue, stream was still fun and hilarious, thank you :)
(Small correction: there was another game in which you could miss on opponents/get blocked, Titan Quest has OA (offensive attribute) vs DA (defensive attribute) comparison (and Grim Dawn will have it also))

Ah, thank you for the heads up on TQ :) I never really played it all that much as I just couldn't get into TQ for some reason..
THE question: Should I install the DLC from the start or not?

Yes, you should in my humble staff opinion :)

Seconded. It's really more an old school style expansion rather than a mere dlc.
