You haven't played a lot of games.

I thought War Z was the worst game so far=)...too soon....

At least Steam did not have to pull I am Alive off the shelves from the hordes demanding refunds=)

I've played so many worse games I can't count them all on both hands. Just find it funny when someone says Daikatana is the worst game they've ever played (if they've even played it). If that's the worst you've played consider yourself lucky! :o

Several years ago PC Gamer did a great article on the worst games ever. I wish I'd kept it. I remember that #1 was E.T. and #2 was Columbine which I had no clue even existed.

I've played a bit further, and still haven't come across any of the issues you've mentioned, but do you actually know the difference between programming and design? Saving / checkpoints would be a design choice, and has absolutely nothing to do with programming, so even if your criticism is accurate, then blaming the programming team for something that has been implemented by a whole different department seems a little bit harsh.

Anyway, if you don't like it, don't play it. I personally have enjoyed this game so far, but then the world would be a really boring place if everybody like the same things.

Now, F.3.A.R. - there's a game that's really bad. Again, that's my opinion. There are probably plenty of people out there who enjoyed F.3.A.R.

I played the demo of I Am Alive on ps3 and it was good but I just wasn't interested enough to get the full version. But judging from the demo it can't be the worst game evar, there are thousands of worse games out there (shovelware and stuff).
