The problem is that gameon is following blindly and not even trying to come up with reasons for why he's doing it. If I were a bit more paranoid, I'd say you were both scummy and he was following your lead.

Reading through the posts, the main thing that stands out is the gamerager made a terrible SCUMM pun. :)

Wouldn't such overt moves just make us more likely to be called mafia and possibly lynched, thus defeating the whole purpose we might have had to do so in the first place?

Honestly, I agree that I don;t want the game to become like game 11 and that's my own personal reason(or one of them anyways) for voting as I have been....well besides the whole random vote at the start, anyways.

So what, you propose we re-vote nolynch, and get it over with ?

I mean if you have a better idea, please, share, otherwise, I'm gonna keep suggestion on voting agains nmillar, or if it drags on, i'll eventually revote nolynch, since the game must move on one way or another...

EARLY GAME READS:

gameon: Although I appreciate that he wants to keep the game moving, boct did have a point when he mentioned that most of gameon's posts are short and often bandwagon-y. Neutral with a very slight lean to scum.
n0x0ss: I don't entirely agree with his playing, but I find it hard to believe that he's mafia unless he's got some kind of elaborate ploy going on. It is interesting how he initially feuded a bit with Vitek and now is convinced that they're buddies Leaning town, but still makes me vaguely wary.
Planeshaper: Not enough info. Neutral.
nmillar: I don't find him all that suspicious, but I don't really have much reason to see him as town either. It'll really depend on his continuing reaction to n0x0ss. Neutral.
Vitek: Plays fairly aggressively. Although it's possible that he's playing to move attention away from the real scum, that's a bit iffy and could lead easily to WIFOM. Leaning town.
boct1584: Though briefly brought under suspicion, he reacted with a level head and didn't blow things out of proportion. Since then he hasn't contributed hugely to the discussion, but it doesn't feel like he's lurking either. Neutral with a slight town lean, although it's possible that he's skilled scum since he's apparently experienced.
IronStar: Hasn't posted in a while, but had a whiff of bandwagonry when he did. Neutral, I'd like to see more from him before I decide on anything.
Gazoinks. Totally awesome. Town.

Who knows......if the game starts following the game 11 route in earnest I wouldn't be surprised if people started suiciding out of boredom. I could be wrong though.

(I DO know, however, that constantly going from one bandwagon/high votecount to another is only going to keep us on a fast track to nowhereville....especially seeing as how most GOG mafia game OPs don't seem inclined to set deadlines if the games go into absurdly long "days". Will that happen here? It might. I hope it doesn't though.)

Yeah, as you said before, a 2 week deadline seems like a good amount of time. That being said, I feel like we should look towards nolynch while continuing discussions. In particular, I'd like to hear more from nmillar, boct, IronStar, and Planeshaper.

The Innocents can choose not to kill anybody during the day. Although commonly unsure of Mafia identities, the Innocents are more likely to randomly kill a mafioso than are the Mafia (at night). Therefore, not lynching anyone (even at random) will typically favor the Mafia.
However, when the number of survivors is even, "No Kill" may help the Innocents; for example, when three Innocents and one mafioso remain, "No kill" gives a 1/3 chance of killing the mafioso the next day, rather than a 1/4 chance today (assuming random lynching). Lynching an innocent either day gives a Mafia win.[67]

You could do so but it would probably be frowned upon by OP/most mafia players as it would disrupt/imbalance/shorten the game(Depending on what faction you're in/how many players on both sides are left/other factors.). Also I am guessing OP would make anyone doping so an automatic lose, even if their side won the game in the end....like with modkills for other reasons.

Planeshaper is still silent, and Ironstar to some degree as well(Though not as much as PS obviously.) I don't know what to make of it, tbh.

Hmm. I was silent for 3 reasons. I A) haven't been checking this post as regularly as I probably should, B) was waiting for some more information to surface, and C) was off seeing the Avengers. :P

However, I have reached a new vote. Gazoinks seemed fairly quick to say 'I'm town!' and, while I appreciate that he posted a list of activity and his views on the situation, if he's in the mafia, he could have used that to hide them behind his opinions.
