Do you want to make the world a slightly better place and be rewarded some games for being an awesome human being? It's simple: choose a charity you like from the three we have here (, Worldbuilders, and Gaming for Good), pick out 3 games you like out of 13 offered, pay $5 or more, and we will give 100% of your donation to charity*! You can also pick more than 3 games, and your minimum donation will be raised accordingly. Want to donate more? No problem--you can set the amount manually. Don't need the games, or already have them? Select the "Gift this order" option at the checkout, and make some other gamer happy. Again, your choice of charity to help:

We've added three more titles to this special promo selection, thanks to awesome indie developers, who volunteered their games to take part in this charitable action. The newly added games are: by Analgesic Productions, a psychological retro adventure game with nostalgic action-RPG feel and deep story, bundled with MP3 soundtrack, Escape Goat by Gemini Rue by Wadjet Eye Games, a gritty neo-noir point-and-click adventure game masterfully mixing Sci-Fi and crime mystery genres. Thank you for making this happen, guys!
Our whole-hearted thanks also go to: Introversion Software (Darwinia), Subset Games (FTL: Faster Than Light), Tiger Style Games (Waking Mars), Amanita Design (Botanicula), Instant Kingdom (Driftmoon), Northway Games (Incredipede), Digital Game Factory (Creatures: Village), Might & Delight (Pid), Daedalic Entertainment (The Whispered World), and Oddworld Inhabitants (Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee).. All of the devs are receiving nothing for their games in this charity but the good karma that comes from doing a good deed. Take a moment and tweet, facebook, or email them and tell them how much you appreciate their participation in this, and then you'll be extra awesome yourself. :)
*GOG.com is paying out some money as well; for every $1 donated, it costs us about $0.25 to cover the credit card fees, taxes, and other fees to make sure that literally 100% of what you donate goes to charity. So, let's say you want to donate $10. We'll add about $2.50 on top of that, to make sure that all of your donated money reaches the charity of your choice.

GoG is le awesome, as are all the developers and charities taking part in this promo! Thanks :)
A great promotion and much appreciated. Too bad there's just one game I want, but hopefully next time? :-)

Good one, GOG!
Not really my top choice of institutions to support with charity, and luckily I already have all the titles in the promo, but I have to say this is a fine selection of games and I envy everyone who's yet to discover Botanicula, Waking Mars and Driftmoon, and Abe's Oddyssee and The Whispered World are very nice, too, as a bonus. Also kudos for trying something new, GOG! It's also pretty cool, that you can pick which institution you want your money to go to, instead of just distributing it between the three.

Ric1987: Hmmmm.....what to get with Driftmoon? I have FTL and Oddworld.

I'm thinking of getting Battle Worlds though, which would make me have a pass on this. Not sure what I'll do yet.
Botanicula and Darwinia are fantastic games. Add those in with Driftmoon and you've given a great gift to yourself as well as charity.

Good one, GOG!
Hi RaggieRags, hope you're doing fine!
Aw, I wish there was a bigger selection. I may still go for it, regardless, but still...
high rated
Done. With a little extra money donated directly to Heifer Int., the organisation behind Worldbuilders.

I already own all the games I'm interested in in this promo, so here's my gift certificate for Abe's Odyssee, Botanicula and Waking Mars.

Good luck with redeeming, and if you've never played Botanicula and are about to try, you're a lucky person indeed!

DrakoPensulo: But, could you please add Caritas as a charity to choose? I suppose it should not be a problem for you. Caritas has a long history and a very good reputation.

DeMignon: Of course, it's a problem. All negotiations done, contracts settled and event running - It's not just collecting some money and donating it.
You do not need any negotiations nor contracts to donate money to charities. Unless there is some "unclear"/hidden business behind the whole thing.

Got it, Masodik, many thanks :)

I'm doing fine, save the fact I don't think I've ever felt this ill, but I'm happy with the results. Thank you for asking. :-)

Right and there's the theoretical possibility that the developers may not sign off on any other charities. Not to mention that by adding a 4th charity, that the amount donated to any of them will be reduced.

I'm not sure how much interest GOG is expecting, but that could be an issue.

You were fast! ;-) Have fun, tell me what you think of the games if you haven't played them yet.

Good to see you're already back online, the rest will take some time.
Get well soon!
Thanks you, GoG, for this wonderfull action and allowing us fans to participate, and Congratulations (with a big "C" ^^ ) on your fifth anniversary!

Since I already had FTL, I "bought" 3 packages with 3 games each, thus getting all the games and donating equally to the three picked foundations. :)
Now, to figure out how to make time to play them all...
I give to charity, and I get games in return? What is this sorcery?!
