Do you want to make the world a slightly better place and be rewarded some games for being an awesome human being? It's simple: choose a charity you like from the three we have here (, Worldbuilders, and Gaming for Good), pick out 3 games you like out of 13 offered, pay $5 or more, and we will give 100% of your donation to charity*! You can also pick more than 3 games, and your minimum donation will be raised accordingly. Want to donate more? No problem--you can set the amount manually. Don't need the games, or already have them? Select the "Gift this order" option at the checkout, and make some other gamer happy. Again, your choice of charity to help:

We've added three more titles to this special promo selection, thanks to awesome indie developers, who volunteered their games to take part in this charitable action. The newly added games are: by Analgesic Productions, a psychological retro adventure game with nostalgic action-RPG feel and deep story, bundled with MP3 soundtrack, Escape Goat by Gemini Rue by Wadjet Eye Games, a gritty neo-noir point-and-click adventure game masterfully mixing Sci-Fi and crime mystery genres. Thank you for making this happen, guys!
Our whole-hearted thanks also go to: Introversion Software (Darwinia), Subset Games (FTL: Faster Than Light), Tiger Style Games (Waking Mars), Amanita Design (Botanicula), Instant Kingdom (Driftmoon), Northway Games (Incredipede), Digital Game Factory (Creatures: Village), Might & Delight (Pid), Daedalic Entertainment (The Whispered World), and Oddworld Inhabitants (Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee).. All of the devs are receiving nothing for their games in this charity but the good karma that comes from doing a good deed. Take a moment and tweet, facebook, or email them and tell them how much you appreciate their participation in this, and then you'll be extra awesome yourself. :)
*GOG.com is paying out some money as well; for every $1 donated, it costs us about $0.25 to cover the credit card fees, taxes, and other fees to make sure that literally 100% of what you donate goes to charity. So, let's say you want to donate $10. We'll add about $2.50 on top of that, to make sure that all of your donated money reaches the charity of your choice.

Big thanks to GOG and all who participate in this, will support myself as well. :)
Nice idea, just a pity there isn't much I am interested in. Seems to be mostly indie titles included, don't see many old games, nevermind.
Hmm, don't have gog access to darwinia. 10$ to worldbuilders for everyone's awesomeness.
And grats with the 5 year anniversity GOG!

(Pssst: darwinia is a really good old one ;)

Great promo GOG! :)

Used it to finally pick up The Whispered World - those 80-90s style animation adventure games hvae been something I've been wanting to look into (darn it why did we stop making animations like that!).
The selections are too small. I already own most of the games on the list.
The WWF, because Hulk Hogan is on hard times.

GOG.com: GOG.com Goes Good!

We recently turned 5 years old, and while that's a milestone we're happy to reach, we also think that it means we've been around long enough that it's time for us to use our powers for good and help out charities. So we're having a big charity sale where you guys--who are pretty much our only superpower. The way it works is simple: choose a charity you like from the three we have here (, Worldbuilders, and Gaming for Good), pick out 3 games you like, pay $5 or more, and we will give 100% of your donation to charity!

Great idea GOG.

But, could you please add Caritas as a charity to choose? I suppose it should not be a problem for you. Caritas has a long history and a very good reputation.

Thanks.

Great idea guys! As a suggestion, there should be an option that would allow a person to donate more than just the suggested amount, or even just donate cash if the games in the pick list aren't of interest to that person but they still would like to support the movement.
Add more games, get more people interested, use the power of facebook and twitter, raise ubah cash for charity, we get awesome games, they get much needed money
Great idea GOG!! Sadly none of the games really interest me....

You can do this I think, after you select the minimum 3 games, you can click on the amount, and type in a new number.
Max is $999.99 I think.

You already can increase the amount you wish to donate. If you don't want the games you can just donate directly to each organization, or gift the games to someone else.
Edit: Ninja'd!

TheEnigmaticT: That won't work on the checkout, actually. :P

P1na: Damn you, competent programmers!!
GOG got new programmers? Why wasn't I informed.
Hmmmm.....what to get with Driftmoon? I have FTL and Oddworld.

I'm thinking of getting Battle Worlds though, which would make me have a pass on this. Not sure what I'll do yet.

Of course, it's a problem. All negotiations done, contracts settled and event running - It's not just collecting some money and donating it.
