The buzz around GOG's closure and re-opening has slowly faded away and we wanted to sum up the beta stage with a special gift for all those who have been with us during that period. Two years ago we began our revival of all-time PC-gaming classics for all you fans of good old games. Through ups and downs we’ve received a lot of support from the best community we could ever imagine (that’s you!) and we want to thank everyone who’s been with us through our beta stage with a special gift.

Any user who created an account before we closed down the site and moved out of beta (that's September 20, 2010) will receive Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games for free! We'll be adding the game automatically to your accounts during the next days, so don't worry if the game is not yet there.

Of course, we're not forgetting about all those users who joined the GOG family in the last few weeks. Together with Strategy First we're launching a special promotion to offer their GOG catalogue at a 50% discount.

If you've been a part of GOG beta and you already bought Jagged Alliance: Deadly Games, please click here, as we have an alternative gift for you.

Thanks for being with us!
Thank you, GOG!

Maybe some people would have preferred another one, but it's a very good gift and I'm sure everybody will appreciate it when they try it.

Jager: Ever since the last year`s free game fiasco, where I had to wait the better part of forever for an alternative gift, I have been dreading the next free game giveaway.

And here I am, waiting for an alternative to an alternative gift. After all, history has a tendency to repeat itself.
are you whining about a free game giveaway?
Thanks a lot. very appreciated :)
Oh, GOG...! You need not have bothered, really!

That said, FREE STUFF!!!!1!11!!

;-)

PS. Especially nice since I'm making a habit of cleaning all these 50% discount promo games, it seems. So I'd have been buying it pretty soon! :-)

Thank you very much guys !!! GOG is really a great web site !!!
Thank you GOG ! This is the kind of thing that sets you apart from other download sites. But adding another game to my backlog is a bit harsh : so many Good Old Games, so little time to play them all ! :-D

Ois: Guess I'll try again later then contact support.
fixed ;-)
Thank you, GOG.
I like JA games, so it is even better.
Thank you GOG!
Oh wow, thanks. And I'm not being sarcastic here. Now I know what I'll do during the weekend. :D

DrIstvaan: Port Royale 2 is quite a bit different from Patrician 3; for example, there's not one large alliance governing the islands, but four powers (England, The Netherlands, Spain and France), which means a number of opportunities for would-be buccaneers.
Also, the distribution of produced goods is rather logical, with specific goods being produced in one of the two types of towns.
I'd say, get it if you like this game genre.
Thanks for the info.
I never actually was much into these economic games, but I gave them a go with Patrician 3 and am willing to continue the experiment with a similar title... In a way - this is the least "not my kind of game" from the whole list ;P.
Enjoy your Deadly Games, BTW :3.
Thank you GOG! :)
I just noticed that this game has no manual, how weird is that?
