mw.islinger: I am also hoping for a preload a few days before release.

But isn't it time for the creation of a Witcher 3 forum? So people can post there and stop spamming
the Witcher 2 and general forums...
Come on guys, just give us a date :)
So I can stop looking and enjoy the weekend :)

What kind of ISP do you have? That should be unacceptable to have to pay for something like that... I have approx 850-950Mbit/sec depending on what time of day it is, and I have to limit the download speed to 60MB/sec when downloading large files due to buffer overhead or something on my harddrive...

PC Players for all software House are less important of console Players
because on consoles runs more money !

I have a 5 MB ( bad connection) and if the preload will start on 18/19 until 22 I can not play! CDPR evidently thinks that everyone has a 20mb! everyone should have the opportunity to play the 19..non only users Xbox.


I hope the game is well optimized for AMD cpu and vga, not there is only nvidia , AMD users and we have the right to play it well.

I agree you would think we would get a date by now and everyone does not have the fastest internet myself i have 20mbit but some areas of the usa still max out at 3-6mbit dsl. My guess preload will start 24-48hrs befor release date.

I remember dial-up speeds of yesteryear and sympathize with those who are still stuck with very slow speeds.

Yes, everyone should be able to play on the 19th. Come on CDPR!!!

I've been a gamer for over 30 years and I have never been so excited about a games release day as I am with this. Well... maybe Super PONG, but that was a long time ago.

Since it is DRM free, maybe they fear early pirated copies.... which would be a shame...

pirated copies? pirated copies without the activation of the game do not work, and the activation of the game is scheduled for 18 night (ie 19, the D1)

then preload the witcher 2 the 7 days before they activated (and TW2 is DRM Free) then that's not the reason.

you know what is the reason? I think that's the deal they have with Microsoft! Microsoft probably has an exclusive of one-month with CD Projekt, and then give priority to the players Xbox One! (These exclusive stupid, ruin players PC)

You can just change the time & date of your system. Though in all honesty, The Witcher 3 will be pirated not long after its official release. It's a shame I agree, when it comes to great titles like this one, of a franchise that doesn't enjoy the popularity other titles do, it's better to just spend the money and support the devs.

Yeah, a preload in the coming days would be nice considering not all of us have fast internet speed. 2mbps here.. kinda hoping i'll be able to play on release..

Please CDprojekt give us some information so we can plan download limits etc. Not everyone has unlimited fast connections and this will be a sizeable download. Releasing some information to the PC gaming community will not impact your marketing efforts
