inyuasha147: Please CDprojekt give us some information so we can plan download limits etc. Not everyone has unlimited fast connections and this will be a sizeable download. Releasing some information to the PC gaming community will not impact your marketing efforts
+1 i have weak connection too.... and still the best my ISP can offer :P
As far as I love Witcher games, I personally will hold off playing it for some time after release. Bugs are always there, especially for open world games as ambitious as The Witcher 3. Just my opinion.
Anybody know what will be the size of witcher 3 for PC?
(It was 40GB when they announced system requirement)
You complaining about 2 mbps i would love that kind of connection.
Sadly germany is one of the countries that actually has pretty bad connections overall...
I get 600kbps gta 5 download took me 2days but atleast i was able to preload it in time.
They really should announce it soon... i mean like 5days before is still enough for most players.
Edit: Pre-load is live. 26GB.

Speaking purely about PC version on GOG it is around 25-27 GB.... I believe that this whole 40+ GB was an universal estimate if you would install game together with all possible language voice over packs included on the discs (each of these weights 3 or 4 GB) but I'm not the best person to ask as I didn't prepare said requirements myself :)

And before you will ask - no, I don't have the predownload date for you, but it will not start during the weekend for sure (at the same time it won't be "at the last possible moment" either).

DESTROI can ask a question? but it is true that cd projekt is committed only to optimize the console version, spending less time on the PC version? It will be optimized on AMD VGA?

DESTRO: the preload, you're referring to the weekend next week? then for mid next week we can expect the preload?

I hope that there will be preload soon. But as WitcherITA has already said before me... I also would like to know if the game is optimized for AMD Hardware, cuz as far as I know everything that has been shown was Nvidia + Intel :P :)

So what about AMD CPU's and AMD GPU's? :)

From what I've read on the cdprojekt's forums it optimized for nvidia cards mainly. It will work with amd but not sure if we will get good stuff. I'm using a R9 290x for this so I'm hoping to get all the juicy graphics.. but lately I hear they may have downgraded the visual in the game.. so might work for all. You can find more information on cdpr forums.

Ya my Internet is slow so I need a day or two to down load all that gog thanks :)
I'm hoping the preload starts Monday....please let it be Monday

Thanks for the reply. Am worried more about how the servers will take the load than the pre-loading start date (off-course I know u guys will be more worried than me)
Weekend could be perfect :P There's no much interesting to do on sundays, so it could be a perfect day to leave our PCs downloading some little of the total GBs.

Anyway, I hope to see something between 12 and 13th of May (a week before the launch).
I really hope Cloud Saves come to the whole GOG World soon, so i can just play on more pcs without any worrying about my savegames!? And i already bought it directly here, just to assure the maximum care about all the patches who come and maybe ill buy it on ps4 too lets see...

I just really want Cloud Savegames on GOG soon!
