Few days before launch should be enough even with slow internet connection.

As far as I can see there will be no pre load from GOG.
It says available for download 19/05/15 on my library page.
Considering its DRM free my guess is they wont offer a pre load.
Would be nice though!!!

frodziarz: It will be posible to pre-download the game before the release on 19 of may ?

Cavenagh: Yes, pre-download for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is planned on GOG.com. More details will be announced as we get closer to the release.
Thanks for the link.
They should just announce this officially to stop confusion and sales bleed to other platforms.
Whoever does their PR should probably pull their finger out!

Just noticed www.gog.com/galaxy has gone into live beta today :)

Perfect way to promote their new steam like service having its first big release be the Witcher 3.

Just signed up for the beta.
I think that preload go next week!

Or 12 May or 16.

I hope it's on the 12th, more than enough time to preload it either way.

I was about to buy it on Steam cause I like having all my games together but I changed my mind as I want to support CDPR in the best way possible. Now I'm anxiously waiting for my GOTY.... :D
Indeed! then preload the witcher 2 began a week before D1. Seven days are enough for those who use a connection 4mb.
On the store page is says available for download on the 19th, I hope that is a mistake because everyne is saying the game unlocks at 7PM EST on the 18th.

Witcher 3 is launching @ 01:00/CET on the 19th of May, 2015 around the world. Which translates to the 18th of May, 2015 @ 16:00/PDT and 19:00/EDT for the States.

Edit: I'm sure there will be a pre-load option a few days before the actual release time. I'm expecting 3-4 days in advanced. Hopefully they will take into account the people that might need extra time to download so they can play at release hour as well.

11-12 of next week for You?
My new SSD is here in a few days so hopefully we can pre-load soon! I got that week off work :D
Hope it's early next week. I work offshore and will be at work on the 13th for 8 weeks. Would suck not being able to play it for 2 months due to terrible work internet. :(
I am also hoping for a preload a few days before release.

But isn't it time for the creation of a Witcher 3 forum? So people can post there and stop spamming
the Witcher 2 and general forums...
