But now GoG tells me that "something went wrong" and to try again. Is it still related to the high demand or is it another problem?

Yesterday GOG had (what seemed to be) an internal problem. Possibly with their implementation. I have no way of knowing this, so merely speculating. That issue was resolved. What you are seeing right now is what is described in the first post of this thread.

404 is broken link. If your browser doesn't render the page correctly because of Javascript or cache issues, this could happen. Try clearing your cache and relog to GOG and Steam.

As for unknown errors, it's so unknown I can't even guess. Try providing a screenshot.

Considering that most people are experiencing the same issues with connectivity - which is the whole reason this thread was made, to cut down on the number of "help I'm having issues" and "me too" posts - I'm guessing that they probably did.

Well I will try in a few hours, it 's late aftermoon here so I will try after dinner or something like that. I just hope that it won't take 5 days to get this fixed.
