Trooper1270: I know, I do remember reading that somewhere. But doesn't hurt to wish/dream... :)

AllanWegan: If you like the Factorio gameplay, you will easily get a thousand hours out of its single player freeplay mode - and then some thousands more with mods and/or multiplayer.

No other game has that good a price/playtime ratio. So just buy it fullprice.
Thanks!, nice to know. :)

I would be very willing to pay full price, but just not ready to purchase just yet, which a discount would help accelerate that process. That, and the fact that it appears that the GoG version may be a little behind with regards to updates ?. I'll hold off for now... :)

Nope.
I own the game and it's been receiving all the updates of the steam version

eiii: I'm hoping for that too. :)

No harm in that. :)

eiii: For now I'm playing Mindustry. But I don't know how similar to Factorio that actually is.
I gave Mindustry a go on itch.io (the free version), and while I really liked the building of the defence systems, the manual shoot-em-up part with the central gun (controlled with the mouse) was the part I did not like, and wished there was an option to disable it...

Would that be updates via GoG offline installers or via the registered account to the developers website ?.

GOG's offline installers.
Whenever I get a library notification I go to steam to check the parity. And so far GOG's been receiving the same updates as steam with maybe only a few days delay at worst. All game versions (PC, Mac & Linux) are updated at the same time.

Dohi64: I wish gog had more puzzle games. not low-effort, overpriced mobile ports, some of which are actually available here, but good ones worthy of attention they might get here with less trash littering the storefront than on steam.
I'd like for more Match-3 games. They're really relaxing to play while hearing audio-books, podcasts, etc.
Unfortunately, it seems to me most match-3 games here are rated M. I might be wrong though.
Spacechem 75% off is quite a steal. Highly recommended if you want a crazy deep puzzler.

Great!, thanks, that's good to know. I was only going by the most recent update info (1.1.30, back in March 2021) posted here on GoG in the games specific forum, which is obviously very out-of-date.

Anyway, I'm just trying out the demo, downloaded from the developers web site. :)

I prefer solitaire for that but match-3 or mahjong will do too. a lot of them are low-effort reskins, but there are decent developers with higher quality products. the revills solitaires should all be here, for example, or green sauce match-3s.

Don't forget that whenever you want to know the update level of offline installers for specific games, you can search here too :

There is also https://www.gogdb.org/
Yeah, thanks for the reminder, I do frequent the update page on a fairly regular basis (usually once a day), but guess it must have slipped my mind on this occasion.

I agree. Unfortunately it's the only Zachtronics game with a good discount.

Agree, it's a great chemistry themed puzzle game. And no, you have no need to know chemistry to play it :)

Also, the game have a key that you can use to play on Android. It's a bit hard to find the APK on spacechem website but it's there. Heck, might as well trow it here: http://store.zachtronicsindustries.com/spacechem

The game key is located in the instalation folder.

Great game (Spacechem)!
And I'd also wish to see more Zachtronics games with 75% discount. I own most of them Elsewhere and I'm fine paying once more, but -50% is still a bit too much.

Interesting. :) Thanks for the info!
