We would like to inform you that, due to our storage and CDN provider's outage, we are encountering technical issues that may cause difficulties in downloading and updating your games both through the GOG GALAXY client and GOG Store. Already downloaded files are in no way affected.

We are trying to mitigate this external problem by switching to our secondary storage while our provider is restoring data. We would also like to highlight that those issues do not affect purchasing games. Currently available discounts on selected titles will not be extended due to the above.

It is our team's top priority to resolve those issues and we aim to resolve them as fast as possible. Apologies for any inconveniences caused.

Gudadantza: Apparently something has changed, indeed. The yesterday's Battle Brothers 1.08 GB update finally was completed properly. I had it stopped at 94 per cent since yersterday night
I felt it needful to return.
I tried and succeeded with a small download. It complete np.

It's barely 400 megs but it installed. =)

I hope this current ( PoE II ) one works out as swiftly.

Kenoba: Why did they remove the notification about this issue from the storefront. The problem still persists. installation failing constantly.
I'm still getting 404 on some of my games. GOG you need to add the warming back because your issues are not fixed.

I finally managed to install an 8GB game, though I had to restart Galaxy around 20 times, cause it kept loosing connection. Guess the servers are overloaded atm.

When day 2 hit I got bad flashes of the 2011 PSN outage.

I still think GOG should have halted sales until the service could deliver... but... I'll give them this one. Now, if it had strung on to a 3rd or 4th day...?

Glad it didn't.

And will promptly start downloading and updating!

The list of failing files is not immutable. It changes over time (and possibly location) in both directions. I have files that worked earlier today and fail now and vice versa. All that matters is how many files fail, not which specific ones. I am currently checking my entire library and will report in a few hours. Based on the current progress, I expect a failure rate of 5-10%.

Out of pure curiosity I also checked some movies I have there (almost forgot about this tab). When I try to download 576p version of The Art of Playing new tab opens but nothing happens, not even 404. :P 720p and 1080p works, however all extras result in 404.

TPB AFK: The Pirate Bay Away from Keyboard - 720p version not working, same for poster and subtitles
Fechtbuch: The Real Swordfighting behind Kingdom Come - can't download czech audio, subtitles and HD version

Deliverance: The Making of Kingdom Come - no problem
Video Game Show — The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt concert - no problem

It is still going. Nothing significant has changed. Still, it might help to check your specific game from time to time, just in case. Perhaps you'll get lucky. Don't hold your breath.

Thanks for reminding me. I have three movies. Of the 18 files, 3 failed (the same three you mention for Fechtbuch).

lizxfiasco: They do, but before you return it. See if there is an offline installer for the game. Others that installed and downloaded the game just fine. I really didn't the time to manually do it at first. If its not back up by the time i get back home from work today, Ill be making time and downloading it manually.

Bigspenderz: Question, I saw that you can download them on gog galaxy in the extras but then I get an error saying that there is nothing on the server or is there another place where you can download it?
I just got back home and saw that both BG3 and Cyberpunk 2077 are finally done downloading. The way to get to the offline installers is to either go to the GOG from the web browser and go to your account, then go to Games. When you get there click on the game you want to install and then go to "DOWNLOAD OFFLINE BACKUP GAME INSTALLERS" you will have to manually click on each one and download the files. From there it should install the game with no problems. I hope this helps.
