Kurib0ss: The Mummy Demastered is off 5%
That's funny.
FIxed, thanks! ;)
In case somebody wants an easy way to sort by discount:

http://www.cheapshark.com

Also, for some reason clicking game links on GOG site returns me to discount listing, but clicking game links on Cheap Shark actually takes me to GOG game card pages.

I don't know how to filter out what you already own, I guess there's no way to do that even with using third party sites/tools.
Full Throttle for free!? Thank you GOG! <3
Again had to use Opera portable version 36.0.2130.80 to get the free games. Since firefox esr doesn't work with the new giveaway section of GOG.

timmy010: i can't buy anything. everything is in dollars. i'm gbp. it's been like this since hallooween sale
Add something to your basket and checkout (you don't have to buy just visit the checkout page with something in your shopping cart). It should reset it to GBP.
Some of the prices seem a bit off....

viranimus: I am glad you brought this up because I don't know how many people have noticed yet but this DOES represent a change in SOP.

Before when you encounter an instance where you get something despite already having it you would get a gift code. That gift code would be viewable in your settings.

However now that does NOT happen it seems. You do still get the gift code, BUT its only in this web form. That means at best once this sale is gone unless you wrote that code down somewhere yourself, that code will evaporate when the winter sale is over with leaving no way to retrieve it as you normally would be able to.

That is unless this is an oversight, or a blue would be so kind as to verify if this is an intentional or inadvertent change which would be moist appreciated.

Desmight: I've received a mail with the two codes (Fantasy General and Everspace) after buying Frostpunk. And yeah, you can also get them on the front-page.
Thank you. I was unaware of the email but there it sets. I appreciate your direction.

___________

This also verifies that this IS different than it has ever been and why its not in that listing on settings page.

Redeem this code to add {this} to your library. Act fast, it will expire on 17 January, 2019 at 23:59:59 UTC

That verifies these codes are now for no logical reason applied with an expiration date. Its not really giving something away if you are taking it away. That s a lot closer to lending than giving.

That is really regrettable too. I had amassed quite a large library of gift keys over the years. Many of which I had purchased. I have actually set up to do a massive round of giveaways this Christmas season to a community I am involved with. That would have likely been introducing a dozen or more new people to GOG. However seeing these cumulative missteps since the 10 year mark I am increasingly losing faith in GOG, and more over losing my desire to actively promote GOG as I have over the last 8 years.

So these change in behaviors are having major adverse effects on my desire to stand up for GOG as these behaviors increasingly adversely are effecting me. Personally I can forgive missteps here and there, but this has been a very disconcerting pattern that does not need to be addressed, evaluated, or discussed. Simply put it needs to stop as it is seems to be headed in the same direction that I and many others like me who have bent over backwards to support GOG came here to get away from and will only follow so far.

Here is the thing. I came home, turned on the PC and was happy because of Winter Sale. I used every clickable thing on the front page to scroll through those offers and was disappointed a bit. THEN I looked my wishlist and saw many additional offers I could not find on the front page at all. Without my wishlist I would not even have known they are there (i.e. Inner World 2 which I had on my wishlist like forever). If those offers really are not listed on the front page I completely don't believe anymore in this awful web design since it simply does not work. Note to myself: put everything you're even remotely intrerested in on the wishlist because GOG seems to be unable to point you to it and you might miss it if you don't. That is a completely new way to sell games, GOG!

Still thank you GOG for Full Throttle, another batch of GOG connect games and every offer I hav already found or hopefully still will find. Redesigning the web site though was probably one of the worst ideas you EVER had! This is NOT a rant, it's valid critizism. If you are planning on reworking this you maybe should assign a few more people to it. This way the front page might be usuable again in 2022. Sorry, but I am just too disappointed to not being sarcastic right now.

Thank you. I luckily also already knew about this useful site.

But isn't it really sad that you even NEED to use third party sites to find those? GOG is a store and theit FIRST priority should be to SELL games and make people KNOW if there are some pretty good sales. If they cannot do this anymore it's a really bad sign.

Another free one from my wishlist (adding to the two from Tell Tale, that makes 3 in a row).

Thank you so much, GOG!
Thanks for the free game! =D

tfishell: ... I know some people don't want to support the publisher for understandable reasons, but I want to give a shoutout because I still like Pajama Sam 1-3.
