Themken: BOUGHT gift codes do not expire, only bonus codes and only from the last couple of years.
Yes I am very well aware that purchased codes do not. My purpose in bringing up bought codes was just referencing how those codes, both bought and gifted was potential of exposing new people to GOG. However bonus codes, that is a change at least from Jun 4, 2018, or in other words this years summer sale. It might have been changed during one of the sales in between but I personally have not encountered this change before now. It may have been a case where this change was implemented during the 10th anniversary, but as far as I saw I did not encounter any word of it then or anywhere else where this change has happened,

Still does not change the fact that it is a gift code with a time limit. That time limit serves no real purpose and in the long run only inhibits the likelihood of giving something away that might be in gogs best interest to appeal to new customers, which is the biggest point of gift codes in the first place.

Is there a way to get a key for Full Throttle Remastered instead of the front page banner? It doesn't work for me at all. If I sent a support ticket it may take more than 48 hours.

Dunno, maybe try to use this thread and hope someone shows up that has a spare key as well (unless OP still has his).

Other than using a browser GOG wants to make sure to force all their users to use (Chrome/Chromium-based or latest FF)? Not really...

You could use the Gog Galaxy client to activate the game.
Otherwise you might want to try a different browser to activate the game on the store front.

So... from the messed up frontage with infinite loading banners again I assume you still have not looked into pale moon browers? :(

Are you using Firefox like me?
I had to install Chrome to see the button -_-'

Melvinica: Yup, this again.
Yeah, site is broken again. (Was it ever not broken? I can't remember...)
But at least GOG is trying to soothe the pain by offering us the choice to pay or get all them games for free... ;-P

GOG's website is turning into DRM, huh...
Thanks for "Full Throttle". Now to the wishlist to see if my beer money is in peril.
Edit. Forgot the most important thing: Thanks for "Full Throttle" :)

On to the rant:

Also browsing the deals is still escape reflex triggering. If you unload all the stuff at once PLEASE add more filters in the sales section.

% filters to set i.e. only show 50% + sale offerings
genre filters
year filters

As it is I glance at the front page at the fistful stuff highlighted, click to the sales section, get annoyed almost immediately and leave after some half hearted clicks.

Yes, your new shop page looks a bit more fancy than the old one but it is uninviting to shop and browse deals. Its just not fun to explore.

SirPrimalform: Why does GOG think Frictional Games is a Russian company?
I might have got it all wrong here, but I believe that it's the corresponding curator (BlackSilverUfa) that is Russian in this specific case, not the featured games themselves being developed/owned by Russian companies.

That does make sense, thanks!
Nice, website is completely busted on Firefox ESR. Again.

The incompetence continues.
