Fuzzyfireball: Hope to see I'76 get a fix soon.
This is on my 'to buy' list. I didn't realize it was broken. What's wrong with it?
Was going to post about the LoG editor update, but the OP already got it.

EC-: I approve of this thread, but I think GOG should start posting them as well.

http://www.gog.com/en/wishlist/site/post_game_updates_in_latest_headlines

Also, if you want to make me happy, you can vote for Hamilton :-D
I second the notion, kinda sad when you can't/won't communicate with your community base at large. They may have done this with a few titles as of recent, but they still have a lot to answer for in a way (least that's what I think as a customer).

What make it worse is that I just realized from this list is that I was going to buy a copy of Second Sight and now I can't. I can't even buy a copy of Hostile Waters:Antaeus Rising, an all time favorite RTS of mine. Granted that title has been long gone but I still wish I could have bought a copy to experience it again.

I know this just turned into a rant and I'm sorry it has. But please try to understand, it just feels like little by little, as computers and OS get more advanced (based on opinion at large). We start to lost the ability to play the games we used to play as children. Now, some may say its just nostalgia talking. But, when you have memories linked to the familiar sights and sounds of a game, that never really goes away does it?

-----Warning, very brief look into childhood(Skip if you want)-----

When I was around 5-6 my parents we're going through a divorce. I was 6 and I didn't really know what to say was going on. I would hear the constant fights and yelling throughout the house. Some days were quieter then others (but only briefly).

All in all I needed an escape in some way, even if only for a brief moment. That's were video games kind of came into play. A way to forget, and be lost in a 2D imaginative world or later on a 3D world of mystery and wonder waiting to be explored. Of course I may just be romanticizing the experiences I have had with video games and there distracting qualities. But, I feel there is a hint of truth lying underneath all the dust and cobwebs of memory.

-----Warning, you are now leaving brief window of childhood. Watch for baggage-----

That is why I am not only serious about this mentally but emotionally. I feel its important that we be warned of a titles imminent let go and given an ultimatum of time to have a chance at being able to purchase said title.

This is the only place that I know of that not only has many games from my childhood. But also many that I would have never had the chance to try thanks to "modern" software compatibility issues. I would have needed a time machine before finding this website (or an old and clunky computer.

Well that's it, came to reply to a comment and agree with what the owner had said. Then inevitably turning that reply into a rant. Finally, turning into a trip down the dusty road of memory lane and ending in conclusion as a statement (least I hope it did). Thanks to any and all that took the time to read this post. I apologize for how long it is.

I really appreciate your efforts to catalog all these events sir. It is nice to let fellow community members know of such things. I wonder though, how did you come about all of this information.

I can understand some could be found from here and there. But, this list is still very impressive.

for the most part weird colour issues and speed issues, the colour issues can be avoided by using a newer glide wrapper like nglide or use a batch file that will kill explorer when you start the game and restore it when you exit and the speed issue can but worked around by capping your FPS if you have a driver that can do that or by using CPU grabber to tie up your cpu.

Observation, mostly. I have over 400 games (too lazy to count manually, I'll wait until something updates and look up the total; backloggery lists 624 but that's counting bundled games separately). If the game updates and I don't have it, someone else usually posts in this thread and I add it to the list.

Now, every file is marked as "new" when it updates whether it's actually an addition or a new version. However, if the file existed, the link pointing to it will end with a number in line with other numbers (e.g. when 'Mystery Examiner' newspapers updated, AitD's files went 1041-1042-1043 etc, but 1042 had a [new] tag). If the file is actually new, the link ends with a number in the mid-thousands (4000+ as of this posting, e.g. AitD 2 playing cards is 4552, but the preceding file is 1057, that's clearly a new one).

I started when updated games were less convenient to look up, and people were annoyed that they needed to locate an updated game to remove the alert (game update alerts in the stalker bar look identical to private message/forum replies alerts, which one it is is only visible on mouseover). Now that there's a filter button, this thread is nearly obsolete, but I maintain it because why not.

Why or why not, either way let me be the next to say thank you. Someone has to keep the community on their toes about the wheeling and dealing going on up stairs (no matter whose fault it is, naturally).

Even so, please do keep up the good work of record keeping when you can.

Did the Divinities get updated? No update flags. :( There are universal updated for both, but I don't know if they were already there before or if they're the new updates.

Yep, new installers, universal updates and language packs - Russian, Polish (Beyond Divinity only), French and German.

I didn't get an update notification either.

What did they do to the edit funtion? Haven't notice anything, but I don't post in the forum very often and don't maintain threads.

By the way. I didn'T get an update notification for the Divinity games either, maybe there were nine.

Editing doesn't preserve line breaks in the original post. I can't just open the post, add new lines and submit the changes - I need to either reformat the whole wall of text or keep the "source code" in a file to copypaste it in.
Oh right, I just noticed that when I picked the quote from the list. But I newer quote from such a nicely formated text, so I wasn't sure if this was new.
Why did they break their forum software? Probably a new bug they hopefully will iron out sooner or later.
To save you fellas some trouble, Divine Divinity just updated, with a demo for another game that I never heard about.

EDIT: Also available for Beyond Divinity. I don't know about Divinity 2, but I'm guessing it's for that as well.
