Boy, the news travels fast which is excellent. And this particular news is excellent on both counts. Thank you for the new manuals Judas and GOG.

Just yesterday I was gawking in wonder at the beautiful Wizardry 8 banner on the front page wishing GOG had given us that as an extra. It truly is beautiful. A day later, here it is! Niceness!! Without doubt, this fine piece of art will adorn my desktop when I play Wizardry 8 to fully celebrate the experience.

Thanks for the fine work and thanks a lot Judas for keeping us posted on these things. I'm sure I'm not alone in being very appreciative for the many times you guys go the extra mile for us.

I just started re-checking all my GOG games, did not so for 3 weeks or so.
First find of a stealthy update:
The 7th Guest has a new version of the Making of video, about twice the file size as the original one, seems to have a bigger resolution but I can't really check, my work PCs lacks the codec needed for the old version of the video. And it's MP4 now instead of AVI.

Sweet. I appreciate this thread because it shows that GOG constantly trying to improve the quality of their releases. (unless stuff gets taken down, like the Atlantis soundtracks; that sucks)

It has the sound quality bumped up to 192 kbp/s which somewhat improves it a little bit although there's only so much you can do with something that was originally pulled from a VHS tape :/

Yeah I suspected that the source was a VHS tape, as it came originally on one. And as the company does not exist anymore, I find it very likely that there does not exist any better source any more.
But the people ripping the VHS tape did great work, it is often not easy digitizing these things without getting extra picture degradation.

Raiden Legacy got an update, should have the same changes as the Dotemu version:
