No love for 037:
037 - ** - [10/29/2015] Some games (new & bundled?) support page Help from the community links are a bunch of random links to threads in General. see there [Ticket : No] , [Resolved: No]
Doesn't happen to all games. Actually, not terribly clear on any real pattern for this bug.

And added. Fell through when I was sorting through the old OP. Sorry.

The discussed, yet somehow never made into an entry, Linking to specific posts in threads containing deleted posts can be broken. See here. To reproduce:
1) Go to The "what did just update?" thread.
2) Click on the last page.
3) Go to the previous page.
4) Scroll down and click on the last post on that page.
5) Enjoy the bug.
Instead of being scrolled to that particular post you wind up on the following page. The more posts deleted and the smaller posts/page setting you use the worse the bug's symptoms manifest. Also, fairly certain the math I came up with is a bit off.

Oh yeah that bug. I know it quite well. Happens in the CFFA all the time.

002b - [January 2016] - In addition games with a different ID (removed, unbundled, kickstarter edition etc) don't receive update notifications and some don't appear as owned in the catalogue. Details - [Support Ticket: ?]

[...]
I first submitted a support ticket on May 15, 2015 regarding the missing update notification for Might and Magic 3 and Might and Magic 6.
Firek replied that he was not aware of any bugs, but that he would let the web-devs know.
I followed up on May 18, mentioning the case of backed games. Never got a reply to that one.
Moon : Good job; Johny. will be happy :)

Let's hope they don't wait until The "what did just break" thread 8.0 to start squashing the bugs. .__.
I don't have high hopes..
Good work, OP!

We're squashing some bugs all the time :) but you tend to list low prio ones here.
We're also tracking bugs ourselves.

For me - this topic (as the previous one) is useful not because of the list, but input in new posts. We're very thankful for your input. :)

And we thank you for keeping an eye on this thread. But here's a question - are bugs 002a and 002b low priority?

I don't know TBH, but we're aware of those issues (ID mismatch).

I appreciate the honest reply.

But we'd still like to know if/when GOG will fix them; the lack of proper update notifications is annoying and frustrating, and with the departure of mrkgnao things will likely get worse. Any chance you find out, and share? Please?

I think the problem here is that the bugs listed might be low priority for gog but high priority for us most of the time ;-)
But it is always good to see that you are keeping an eye on things here. Thanks.

I have suggested to add a filter to "latest updated" in the user library :

useful if :

1 - notification system was broken for a while
2 - update not mentioned by the notification system (that could be a workaround for games with a different id....well maybe)
3 - if the user don't remind which game received an update recently after checked them (happened quite a few times for me)

and also adding the date when a game has been updated in plain sight (actually having to go through the awkward pull down menu -> change log doesn't really help) .

but the user library need A LOT of work, we still have the same bonus content for games which suffered the fate of the unbundling.... there has been no effort made to fix anything since this time :|.

just an example : Two Worlds 2 Castle Defense has all bonus content of Two Worlds 2 Velvet Edition ...... what's the point ?

That would indeed be useful. What were you told when you suggested it?

And prominently displaying the date of last update would also be appreciated.

Perhaps Johny. will pass these suggestions on, and we may eventually see them implemented if they're not deemed low priority.
And no-one say soon™!

I think this one is a lost cause; it's been over a year since the unbundling, and it's still a big fat mess, and it'd appear it won't change in this lifetime.

The suggestion was sent to Firek but....

Unfortunately at this point he stopped to communicate with me , so i didn't received any answer since early march.

Either he putted me on a "black list" , either he didn't care to answer.

But at least i i suggested again the suggestion here.

As for the unbundling ; erm , yeah that was a big waste of time when you look at the result :/ , i don't really expect anything good in the future, this is going disappointment over disappointment.
