gunsynd: Yeah sugar is easy to beat,if you can beat drugs, tobacco and grog then sugar should be a snack....
Used to have 3 teaspoons of sugar in tea and coffee, gradually dropped down to 2 then 1 now none...
Been smoking for many years and never tried to give them up because I enjoy them.I know while that's in my
head,I'll never give them up...
If you can't beat sugar then I reckon your not trying hard enough, cut it down gradually and you will do it..
I don't think so, I have a really strong sugar addiction since my childhood (age 0). I can easily stop eating sugar or products containing sugar for one week. But after that period I'm going crazy (fruits, grain doesn't help).

Some *scientists* even claim that sugar is an opiate, meaning it affects your opioid receptors in brain releasing quite amount of dopamine and happiness.

Some doctors suggest to consume Chrome in order to stop this addiction. However I use Chrome on daily basis and it doesn't help at all, just eats my RAM :)))

I haven't thought I have this addiction before I read articles and decided to exclude it from my life. The same history is with porn, it's everywhere and it's okay, but should you stop and then your mind goes astray!

P.S. As for the tea, I stop adding sugar for about 20 years, it's not a problem. I'm talking about cookies, candies, ice creams, march-mallows, marmalade, chocolate and other yummy stuff.

I dislike Mondays, it's that feeling that you have to resume your weekly routine which in my case is waking up early to go to work. Just today I was fighting to move my body to be productive but I felt so sluggish today, oh well here's hoping tomorrow fares better for me. :-)

Cadaver747: I can't beat my sugar craving! All I want is candies, and I am too old for that. Just spent my extra money to cheapest sweets from a shop, feeling like a junkie.

I beat drugs, tobacco and alcohol. But can't resist sweets :(((

Studied and checked tons of articles and videos about sugar and it's effects on mind and body to no avail. I know for 100% it's bad, and that sugar is not needed for life despite what media saying. Still this crave is killing me, silly-silly weakness of mine.

Have anyone beat sugar?
Try honey. Seriously. It has sugar in it, yes, but it's a natural and healthy alternative to sweet foods. Plus it has the added benefit of being an appetite suppressant. It might be just an old myth, but the story goes that if you get hungry and crave unhealthy foods, eat a spoonful of honey. Appetite and desire for sweets goes away. I've never tried it but I've heard it countless times. Might be worth a try.

Just go easy on the honey. XD

Thanks, that's a good one. I'll try. Just 1 tea spoon of honey per day

Now that's an impossible task for me.
Well I just lost my job... AGAIN. Bastards threw me off site because I complained about them changing the means to get on site within 2hrs of shift. Updated them about my now three slipped discs and *BOOM* I'm not working anymore. Cunts!

Man, would it feel good to be happy.

Shit happens, don't blame them or anyone, brace yourself and move on. Time is essential speaking out of experience: lost my jobs pretty frequently, especially during financial crisis' (since 2007 - till 2034 I guess)

No, it's not that. To have a job is very important, you can't let yourself to trade in your energy into self pity this time. Please don't do my mistakes, don't waste your time, because time is your everything.

As for the crisis, I'm most certain it will not end till the very end, called it optimism :))))

Oh self pity is not on the table, most evil revenge is! Mwhahaha. I have heaps of jobs lined up but with my injuries I don't think I can be medically cleared for much longer. Shit happens and you move on!
