I just redid the Parole rooms and Cell Block C is coming along swimmingly. :D

RayRay13000: Decided to take a break from Breath of the Wild and play through Jazz Jackrabbit.

Episode 2 is now my least favorite part of the game, and all because of Orbitus Level 2. Like, seriously, was anybody able to get through this one part without cheating?
Uhg no, that is precisely the damned part where I gave up :P You need to hit an extremely small sweet spot to land that small corridor. Definitely something that was missed in playtesting. Next time I attempt a playthrough and reach that point I'm just going to cheat past it.

Have you seen Stir Crazy?

Here's another:

Taken on Death Mountain while it's still raining. (Wait, how did I get here at this early stage of the game?)

I even have all the pendants, the moon pearl (this isn't a no moon pearl run), and the flute, but I haven't been able to get the mirror without the game softlocking in a way that prevents me from saving and quitting.

Matewis: Decided to quickly check out the homm3 hd mod on my old saves for when I eventually get back to working on my playthrough of the game. Looks pretty good.
Are there multiple versions of this mod?
I'd like to see some HD Genies flying around.

I'm not sure. This is the one I used:

The graphics still look the same, it's just that it's no longer stretched out of proportion to fill the screen. The Homm3 HD edition on steam has reworked graphics for all the creatures, but it doesn't seem worth it all since it's only the base game without the two excellent expansions.

Mr.Mumbles: Everybody must be buying from the same roof tile supplier. So many blue roofs in all of the pictures you've posted so far.
That's how they are in real life too; lots of blue roofs in Korea and Japan (maybe elsewhere too). Also, they aren't always made of individual ceramic tiles, but metal & plastic is also used as a material. ;)
Finished the first campaign of HoMM3, 'Restoration of Erathia'. I thought I had finished it over the weekend but I somehow missed the bonus scenario that becomes available once you finish the main storyline. It has 3 pretty short and easy levels that tell a story set in the aftermath of the main campaign's storyline. It was pretty fun and the last level had an interesting mechanic: there's a wood shortage so every turn you lose wood to, uhm, 'poachers' of some kind. This makes it very difficult to upgrade a town to unlock the better creatures. Even worse, the winning objective is to build a capitol in your starting city, which \requires a ton of resources including wood.
Thankfully there are wood deposits lying around the map, but you have to use them the moment you claim them otherwise they'll go to waste. But you can trade other resources/gold for wood at quite a loss if need be.

It's been a fun journey and I'm looking forward to start with the first expansion, Armageddon's Blade. But that will have to wait until I've made a bit more progress elsewhere in my backlog :P

Ah Conflux, somehow I've managed to never own one of their towns. Though I've met some of their creatures in Shadow of Death. Phoenixes, yikes... :P

They're fun to play every now and then, but they can be a little weak. Ideally, you'd give them a Barbarian hero like Crag Hack to toughen them up substantially.
Has anyone played the StarCraft Remaster?

Interestingly even though the units can appear weak I read that often Conflux is banned in multiplayer, along with Nexcropolis, for being too OP.
