vidsgame: It has one? Most games have only a Windows version so that's why I had the Steam.exe open and going down the list.
muntdefems: Dude, the supported OSs are indicated on the game page (see attached screencap). :P
It takes too many clicks to get to the store page from the library. Especially, when you're moving around files in your computer at the same time. Haha.
vidsgame: I'll test that version as well. I'm willing to wager that the developer makes all his games client-free as the prequel to this game:
Lugaru is also on this list but just the Linux version.
muntdefems: Thanks! Yeah, I guess it'll work too. Even without the
Lugaru considerations, it'd be pretty odd that a game needed the Steam client on one OS, but not on another.
The Linux version is 52gb vs 20gb for the Windows version. What's going on here? I have no idea.
Anyway, yes it's really odd but there is a case. I bought Megabyte Punch thinking it could run on Windows back when I only ran Windows. On the list it says it's client free on Linux but apparently the Windows version is unable to start without Steam.
