I'm second in line behind you so far!

I posted a comment asking Cleve to consider selling the hint guide at some point as a separate purchase. I could not swing $100. for this to get that, much as I would like to have it. Plus, I'd much rather a drm-free digital download over a DVD anyway.

Waiting now for the updated demo as the first release has some known issues. Poor Cleve! Although I am happy to see people are being cool about that.

Oh, and thanks a lot for the heads up about the new campaign start, etc. :D

You're welcome, and hope he takes you up on the hint guide idea. I went in at the minimum level, as I've been getting just a little "too happy" lately, and needed to put the brakes on somewhere :-)

I'm really looking forward to this, as though there have been alot of good games, there hasn't been any like this in quite some time.
New version of The Demo:

With a funding goal of 25K, I think this has a good chance of suceeding.
Niceness! It looks like moving the game out of its default install location to some folder off the root folder is a good idea to avoid permissions issues. I'm not all that surprised. I always install ALL games to C:\Games\etc to avoid these problems.
Sweet smokin' Conan, the demo is out! I will cry tears if I can't get it working!
Wait, WHAT? Are you trying to tell me he was NOT trolling the whole world all this time?

Downloading (the updated version, that is)!
Demo rocks. This game is going to be epic.
Hmm.... UI is VERY cludgy, but that may just take some getting used to.

Big problem is it had a fatal crash less than 5 minutes into the game. I'll mess with it a bit more tonight to see if it was a random fluke.
Freezes during first battle... I was worried that amount of content would cause a lot of bugs but it's still early days...
Otherwise interesting game even though I don't like Cleve I still might get the game.

"Only pledges will get DRM-free copies of Grimoire once it is completed."

Only just noticed this. No GOG then?
If the demo isn't at least 5 hours out of the 600 possible hours, I'm going to be pissed!

Haha, but seriously. This sounds way too good to be true. Going to download the demo and try it out later. If it's anywhere near fun, $25 would be a bargain.

It has a chance to be the Skyrim of CRPGs, that's for sure.
